<p>La investigación examinó reflexivamente las causas del malestar del docente vinculadas a los resultados negativos del rendimiento estudiantil. Se realizó bajo un enfoque cualitativo con diseño de estudio de casos múltiples usando entrevistas en profundidad a 10 docentes universitarios. Los resultados se desagregaron en las categorías siguientes: predominio de sentimientos contradictorios; incapacidad para soportar la ansiedad; inhibición; depreciación del yo; ansiedad como rasgo dominante y equilibrio; aceptación del conflicto como realidad objetiva. Se concluyó que los entrevistados concordaron en una contradicción entre el sistema educativo superior para impulsar la calidad y la provisión real de las herramientas y condiciones para hacerlo en la praxis. Manifestaron posiciones de aletargamiento condicionado por la necesidad del trabajo para su provisión de recursos, pero con la consciencia de la relevancia de su rol social como educador de una generación de estudiantes que requieren de metodologías que desafíen y fomenten la creatividad en el contexto de la educación digital.</p>
<p>La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo generar una teoría acerca de la Reforma Educativa Neoliberal, emprendida desde 1990 y desarrollada con distintos matices en los periodos gubernamentales, desde Fujimori hasta Ollanta Humala. Este estudio se desarrolló dentro del paradigma cualitativo, con metodología de teoría fundamentada y descripción de la situación fenoménica. La muestra estuvo conformada por seis informantes, quienes proporcionaron los datos a través de la técnica de la entrevista a profundidad. Como resultado, se halló la carencia de una teoría explicativa que desvele el trasfondo de esta Reforma Educativa, además de docentes que no se identifican con dicha reforma, los aciertos y desaciertos de la misma. Los aportes amplían el universo teórico reflexivo de la sociedad, que tiene que ver con la educación peruana.</p>
In the study titled Procrastination, stress in academic engagement in Medicine students of a private university, the objective is to establish the relationship between procrastination and stress in the academic engagement of Medicine students of a private university according to sex and age. The approach used was quantitative, descriptive method, and basic. The population was 1904 Medicine students of the private university, the sample was 320 Medicine students, a stratified probability sampling method was used. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire for three variables. The investigation concluded that: 27.8% of students had a low procrastination level, 48.1% had an average low level, 22.5% had an average high level, and 1.6% had a high level of procrastination. As for academic stress, it was found that 39.7% of students had a mild level, 45.6% had a moderate level and 14.7% had a severe academic stress level. As for academic engagement, it was found that 52.8% of students had a low level, 35.3% had an average level and 11.9% had a high level.
<p>El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar el grado de relación de la inteligencia emocional con respecto a la somnolencia diurna en estudiantes del cuarto año de la Facultad de Medicina de una universidad privada de Lima. El diseño usado fue descriptivo correlacional transversal, donde participaron 180 estudiantes a quienes se les aplicó el Trait Meta Mood Scale para medir la inteligencia emocional y la escala de somnolencia de Epworth. Como principales resultados se obtuvo que el 72.2% desarrolló moderada inteligencia emocional, el 25.8% poca y solo 2.0% presentó una excelente inteligencia emocional. Con respecto a la somnolencia diurna se obtuvo un 64.7% lo cual demuestra una ligera somnolencia diurna, un 15.8 presentan moderada somnolencia diurna y solo el 19.5% con somnolencia diurna normal. Con respecto a la correlación de Rho de Spearman, este es igual a -0.282. Por lo tanto, se determinó que existe una correlación negativa débil, con una significancia de .062.</p>
