This investigation aim to evaluate the effect of heat wave on health of human, so to achieve this 40 blood samples for person exposed to heat wave were drawn most patients were attend to specialists in hospital laboratories (Medical City, Ibn al-Baladi, Sheikh Zayed, Kadhimiya Educational). The patients aged 10–60 years, male (20) and female (20). CBC analyzes was performed. The result of the presents study recorded a highly signifi cant difference in total (mean and percent) as compared with the normal value of the CBC analyze the result for total (mean and percent) for male the factors CRP, ESR, WBC, PCV, PL (15.5, 43, 11.35, 28.5, 215) respectively (100%, 100%, 100%, 100%, 100%) and the result for total (mean and percent) for female the factors CRP, ESR, WBC, PCV, PL (15, 43.5, 11.35, 31, 220.5) respectively (100%, 100%, 100%, 100%, 100%). According to the result we can conclude that there was a highly significant deferent in mean value for patient compared with the normal value which is the mean cause of hard attack which lead to death. The study is the fi rst of its kind in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences in Iraq.

Back ground: Cancer is the second leading cause of death throughout the world. Breast cancer, is one of the leading mortality reasons in women from Western Countries, in Iraq, breast cancer is the second reason of death After cardiovascular Diseases. Material and method: The study was carried out of period from October/2016-january /2017 and  included (90) serum samples for Iraqi women suffered from breast cancer . Samples were divided into two groups ,the first group included (66) patients (females) their age rang (22-55) years which attended to (tumor unit) at medical city educational oncology hospital and Al-Amal Al-Waatanii hospital in Baghdad ,the second group included (38) for females apparently healthy their age (22-55) were studied as a control group. All patients women which included in this study were enrolled to a diagnostic criteria which made according to clinical, mamografical, histological finding. All of them were early diagnosed (without treatment).The disease was diagnosed by consultant medical staff at the hospital .Three (3ml) of peripheral blood has been drawn from both understudying groups, serum isolated and placed in Eppendorf tube in deep freeze (-20) until used. To determin the understudying  hormones (progesterone ,prolactin and estradiol ),Eliza technique has been used while  vitamin c and zinc were determined sepctrophotometricly. Result:  By ELISA technique (ITGA2) recorded a non-significant differences in patients. Progesterone recorded a significantly increasing in patients (P<0.01). Prolactin showed a higher significantly increasing in patients (p< 0.01), while estradiol serum level  recorded a higher significantly decreasing (P<0.01) in patients .The result of biochemistry study part which included zinc and vitamin C, zinc  recorded   a highest significantly decreasing (P<0.01) in patients,. As well as vitamin C recorded a significantly decreasing (P<0.05) in patients.   Conclusion:  According to the significant correlation between the three studied factors (integrin, progesterone and vitamin c) we may conclude that increasing level of progesterone and decreasing level of vitamin c may effect integrin expression in a downregulation  manner and perhaps breast cancer occurring and prognosis .

Interleukin-33 [IL-33] is a specific ligand for the ST2 receptor, and a member of theIL-1 family. It is a dual-function protein that acts both as an extracellular alarmin cytokine,and an as an intracellular nuclear factor participates in maintaining barrier function byregulating gene expression of IL-33 modulating tumor growth and anti-tumor immunity incancer patients. The present study aimed to investigate the role of IL-33 serum level and genepolymorphism in Iraqi women with breast cancer. Materials and methods: Blood sampleswere collected from 66 Iraqi patient women diagnosed with breast cancer, which were dividedinto two groups: pre-treatment [PT] and under treatment with chemotherapy [UTC] patients inaddition to 34 apparently healthy women who were matched with patients as a control.ELISA technique was used to determine the IL-33 serum level. The PCR-RFLP techniquewas performed to determine IL-33 gene polymorphisms at single nucleotide polymorphismSNP [rs1929992]. Results: IL-33 serum level recorded lower significant in PT [182.22 ±29.86pg/ml] and UTC [129.87 ± 45.11pg/ml] patients compared with control [258.08 ± 39.54 pg/ml] under [p<0.05]. In a polymorphism study on IL-33 SNP [rs1929992] showed AG genotype recorded the high frequency in control than in patients [76.47, 58.46] compared to other genotypes AA, GG with no significant difference according to fisher’s exact probability. In conclusion: IL-33 serum level decreased after performing surgery on breast cancer patients. There was no association between breast cancer development and IL-33 SNP [rs1929992]. The heterozygous genotype AG was a common genotype in the Iraqi population. Allele G had an environmental fraction, while allele A had preventive fraction, which related to increasing the level of IL-33 with both genotypes AA, AG in the healthy control group, in contrast with GG genotype which showed the highest level in the patients’ group.

Background: Systematic Lupus erythematosus (SLE) has been described as a chronic inflammatory illness where chemokines play an important role in its pathogenesis. CXCL9 and CXCR3 are chemokines that described their crucial role in immune response in SLE patients. Aim of the study: To evaluate the serum level of CXCL9- CXCr3 , ANA, ds-DNA Abs in SLE patients without treatment and compare their level with those under treatment (hydroxychloroquin ,predeslone5-20mg ,D3) Patients collecting and Methods: 180 females with SLE and healthy, with ages ranged between 20-40 years, were involved in this investigation from Medical City (Consultant of Arthritis, Consultant of Dermatology, Lobby of Hematology and Arthritis)/ Baghdad Teaching Hospital and from Al-Imameen Al-Kazimeen Teaching Hospital from August 26 to October 18, 2021. The samples were included 120 females with SLE (60 females as an early diagnosed patients (G2) without treatment, 60 females as patients that received treatment subjects (hydroxychloroquin ,predeslone5-20mg ,D3) (G3) , while the control group included 60 healthy females (G1). Five mL of venous blood were obtained from patients and healthy females for measuring ANA, dsDNA and serum levels of CXCL9 and CXCR3 which were measured using ELISA method. Results: Our findings demonstrated a significant increases in the serum levels of CXCL9, CXCR3, ANS and dsDNA in SLE patients (with and without treatment) in comparison to control group as well as a significant difference was detected between SLE patients without treatment and patients those receiving treatment. Conclusion: Based on our findings, CXCL9 and CXCR3 chemokines may have a role in the pathogenesis of SLE as they are increased in SLE patients. In addition, serum CXCL9 levels can be used as an independent biomarker of SLE activity. Interestingly, high levels of ANA and dsDNA are considered as a diagnostic indicator of SLE disease in the patients. Keywords: Systemic lupus erythematosus, CXCL9; CXCR3. ANA, dsDNA
