Abstract-The purpose of this research was to produce the prototype of fiction prose study as the valid, effective, and practical teaching material based on Makassar local wisdom integrated with mobile learning. It applied research and development (R&D) by using Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation (ADDIE) method. The samples of this research were from the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Technique of data collection included test, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive and descriptive statistics. The finding of this research was the fiction prose study as a valid teaching material based on Makassar local wisdom integrated with mobile learning reviewed from its contents, presentation, graphic, language, and technology source. It was proven from the result of preliminary field test which indicated the teaching material as in high validation category. Similarly, the results of main field test and operational field test showed the same category as well. In conclusion, the teaching material was effective to improve students' understanding related to the values of Makassar local wisdom along with their learning result. It was also a practical material referred to its implementation and management in learning process.Index Terms-teaching material, mobile learning, and local wisdom
The purpose of this research is to create study materials of fictional prose based on local wisdom of Makassar integrated mobile learning that is feasible or valid, readability, practical and effective for the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.This research type is research and development or Research and Development (R & D) by using model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation). Data collection techniques include test techniques, questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. In this research, it is found that the appropriate or valid teaching material is evaluated from the teaching material element (4.32) or with the category very feasible, the presentation element (4.07) or with the decent category, the element of kegrafikan (4,33) or with the category very feasible, linguistic element (4.19) or by a viable category, and the last element of media or technology (4.19) with a decent category. The average of one-to-one subject assessment subjects totaling six students is (3.75) or with the appropriate category, the average of the feasibility of the main field trial subjects (4.38) with very feasible category, and the average assessment of the feasibility of the field trial operational is 4.38 with very decent category. Teaching materials have a good level of legibility with a mean percentage of (81.45%) greater than the independence independence standard (60%). The result of the assessment of teaching materials implementation proves that the average of evaluation of 1st class implementation learning program is (4.25) or with very decent category, implementation class 2 is (4.40) or with very decent category, and implementation class 3 is 4.60 ) or in a very decent category. Furthermore, the use of teaching materials in learning shows excellent results. The teaching materials are implemented maximally where the average implementation class 1 is (4.20) or in very practical category, the implementation class 2 is (4.60) or in the very practical category, and the implementation class 3 is (4.50) or with category very practical.Teaching materials are worth using because they are effective towards improving student learning outcomes. The test results prove that there is an increase in students' learning mastery. The result of the initial skill test is only (22%) of the students who is declared thoroughly while the final skill test result is (76%).
Expressive Speech Acts (Case Study of Class XI Students of Public High School 2 Soppeng), Problems in communication and language skills. This study aims to describe the form of expressive speech acts in students of class XI MIPA 2. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the speech of students of class XI MIPA 2 Public High School 2 Soppeng. The data is obtained through screenshot documentation and then recorded and reviewed. The results of this study conclude that the forms of expressive speech acts are (1) speech acts of congratulating 6 times (17.64%), (2) speech acts of praising as much as 8 times (23.52%), (3) speech acts of gratitude 5 times (14.70%), (4) condolences 3 times (8.82%), (5) blaming speech acts 6 times (17.64%), and (6) apologizing as much as 6 times (17.64%).
Many women workers engaged in various activities in the tourism sector, but gender issues are always attached to them which limit womens' activities in the public domain such as various forms of marginalization, discrimination, and subordination that was reflected in the inequality of wages or salaries. Dual role for women workers into a dilemma, on one hand they are as housewives who have excellent troubleshooting and households, on the other hand they must be professional in a career. Abstrak:Pekerja perempuan banyak terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan pada sektor pariwisata, tetapi berbagai permasalahan gender selalu menyertainya yang membatasi aktivitas kaum perempuan di ranah publik seperti berbagai bentuk marjinalisasi, diskriminasi, dan subordinasi yang tercermin pada kesenjangan upah dan gaji. Peran ganda bagi pekerja perempuan menjadi dilematis, disatu sisi mereka sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang harus piawai mengatasi masalah rumah tangga dan di sisi lain mereka harus profesional dalam berkarier.Kata kunci: Pekerja perempuan, sektor pariwisata, marginalisasi, diskriminasi, subordinasi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan teknik self Talk untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar pada Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep. (2) Untuk mengetahui gambaran aktivitas belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep sebelum dan setelah diberi teknik Self Talk. Untuk mengetahui (3) Apakah penerapan teknik Self Talk dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep sebanyak 12 siswa pada Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 12 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelaksanaan teknik self Talk terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu tahap memberikan informasi, memberikan lembar jurnal self thought kepada siswa, pernyataan self talk positif dan evaluasi (2) Tingkat aktivitas belajar pada siswa sebelum diberikan teknik self talk berada pada kategori rendah dan setelah diberikan teknik self talk berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (3) Penerapan teknik self talk dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar pada siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Pangkep.
