Model of guided discovery, science process skills, scientific attitude This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of learning model (guided discovery and conventional) against science process skills of students. (2) the effect of scientific attitudes (high and low) on learning science against science process skills of students. (3) the interaction effect between the learning model and scientific attitude on learning science against science process skills of students. The type of this research is a quasi experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The population of this research is the students of SMPN 10 Mataram. The sample consisted of two classes defined by cluster random sampling. The instrument used consisted of a scientific attitude test a questionnaires and observation sheets science process skills. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, the analysis were performed using SPSS version 20 for windows with SPSS previously tested homogeneity and normality at significant level of 0.05. Based on the analysis we conclude : (1) there is no effect of using guided discovery model and conventional model against science process skills and critical thinking ability of students. (2) there is an effect of scientific attitude (high and low) on learning science against science process skills of students. (3) there is no effect of interaction between the learning model with a scientific attitude on learning science against science process skills of students. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMPN 10 Mataram. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yang ditentukan secara cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes sikap ilmiah berupa angket dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Pengujian statistik dengan menggunakan anova dua jalur dengan bantuan SPSS yang sebelumnya diuji homogenitas dan normalitas pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) tidak ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran (penemuan terbimbing dan konvensional) terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. 2) ada pengaruh sikap ilmiah (tinggi dan rendah) pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. (3) tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.
PISA measurement results from 2000-2015 show the fact that students in Indonesia have a low ability in the science literacy. This study aims to determine the ability of biological literacy based on gender in MIPA Specialization students in SMA Negeri in West Lombok regency. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Samples of research were 360 students from 2357 students of class XI and XII MIPA interest in 6 Senior High Schools of West Lombok regency in learning year 2017/2018. The research instrument uses adaptation of PISA Science Literacy test in 2006 and 2009 which consists of two aspects, namely: Knowledge and Competency). The result of this research: Biology literacy ability of MIPA Student by gender in West Lombok regency, male students dominant at level 1, level 2 and level 3 while female student is dominant at level 4, level 5 and level 6.Keywords: Biological literacy, Gender, MIPA Specialization
ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian mengenai sifat penyerapan bunyi oleh bahan penyerap bunyi berbahan dasar Serat Batang Pisang (SBP) dengan matriks Polyester. Bahan Penyerap Bunyi yang dibuat dengan variasi komposisi fraksi volume yang berbeda, perbandingan fraksi volume SBP dan Polyester yang dibuat yaitu 30%:70%, 40%:60% dan 50%:50%. Metode penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu pengambilan serat batang pisang, pembuatan komposit dan pengujian sifat penyerapan bunyi komposit SBP. Pembuatan sampel diawali dengan pengambilan batang pisang, penguraian serat batang pisang, perlakuan alkali dengan NaOH 4 %, kemudian pencampuran SBP dengan matriksnya polyester. Pencetakan komposit dengan alat cetak tekan dengan penekanan 12 jam. Kemudian dilakukan uji karakterisasi sifat penyerapan bunyi. Uji penyerapan bunyi dilakukan dengan menggunakan signal generator dan sound level meter dengan mengacu pada prinsis metode tabung impedansi melalui pendekatan box akustik. Hasil penelitian komposit SBP Polyester mampu menyerap bunyi dengan koefisien serapan bunyi = 0,84 pada fraksi volume serat 50%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komposit SBP mampu menyerap bunyi dengan baik untuk frekuensi rendah dan frekuensi sedang, sesuai dengan standar ISO 11654:1997 (E) dimana koefisien serapan bunyi bahan akustik minimal sebesar = 0,15. ABSTRACTThis research conducted to find the physical properties of the absorption of sound from banana stem fiber (Serat Batang Pisang/SBP) with polyesters' matrix. The sound absorbent material made with a variety of different volume fraction composition. The comparison between the SBP and the volume fraction of the polyester is made of 30%: 70%, 40%: 60% and 50%: 50%. The method of research was done in three stages: making banana stem fiber, manufacturing composite and testing of composite SBP. Composite testing includes physical properties (sound absorption). Preparation of the samples started by taking a banana stem, decomposition banana stem fiber, alkali treatment with NaOH 4%, then mixing the SBP with the matrix polyester. Manufactured the composites by press the materials on the molding for 12 hours, then tested to find physical properties. Sound absorption test performed using a signal generator and a sound level meter with the principle of the impedance tube method through acoustic box approach as a reference. The results of the study showed that SBP with polyester composite capable to absorb the sound with sound absorption coefficient α = 0.84 at 50% fiber volume fraction. Thus SBP composites can absorb sound for low and medium frequency, based on the standard ISO 11654:1997 (E) where the minimum of sound absorption coefficient of acoustic materials is α = 0.15.
The partition dimension of the graphs is one of the open problems in graph theory. One of the methods which are used researcher is a graph operation, for example, subdivision operations. Let G be a connected graph of order n. The subdivision operation of G is an operation in G that replaces any edge by a path P k i+2 for ki ≥ 1 and i ∈ [1, n]. The result graph of this operation is called the subdivision graph, is denoted by S(G(E; k 1, k 2, ⋯, k n )). Furthermore, if each k i = 1, then the subdivision graph is denoted by S(G). One of the most recent results on the partition dimension of subdivision operation in the general graphs is published by Amrullah, et al 2016. However, the results show only an upper and lower bounds of the subdivision graph partition dimension. Therefore, this paper is devoted to finding the partition dimension of subdivision graph S(G) and S(G(E; k 1, k 2, ⋯, k n )) on special star graphs G = K 1,n .
This study aims to determine 1) Effect of discovery learning model with a scientific approach (PDPS) on learning outcomes physics learners; 2) The effect of process skills to the learning outcomes of physics students and 3) Effect of discovery learning model with a scientific approach interaction and process skills to the learning outcomes of students. This study is a quasi-experimental design using pretest-posttes nonequivalent group design with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS 21. The result showed 1) Model PDPS affect the Physics learning outcomes of learners with sig (0,000 ) <α (0.05), 2) process skills affects the outcome of the learning physics learners with sig (0.001) <α (0.05) and 3) There is a learning model interaction effect (PDPs-Expository) and process skills to physics learning outcomes with sig (0,000) <α (0.05)Keywords: Discovery learning model with a scientific approach, process skills, learning outcomes
