Hervorgerufen kann ein soleh langdauernder Gef~tgmuskel-krampf werden teils dutch uns bekannte Bakterientoxine und andere Gifte, wie sie im Seeale eornutum enthalten'sind, dessen gefggverengernde Wirkung im Mittelalter und selbst bis in die Neuzeit hinein den Ergotismus gangraenosus, das sog. ,,Ignis saeer", verursaeht hat, teils dureh uns unbekannte Seh~dliehkeiten toxiseher Art, wie sie wohl fraglos der symmetrisehen Gangr~n Raynauds zugrunde liegen. Immerhin ist das Vorkommen derartiger Gangri~nformen selten.
