We present an Eclipse plugin called Temporal Model Explorer (TME) that allows a software engineer to animate how software has changed over time by sliding a scrollbar. The engineer can instantly study changes made at any level of detail. Rationale for changes can also be manipulated, and filters can be applied to hide aspects of the history that are not of interest. Although simple, we hypothesized that this tool might be appreciated by software engineers and might improve their ability to understand and reverse engineer software. This paper presents a study in which we evaluated TME against these hypotheses.
The protocol provides a reasonable solution to the concurrent enrollment problems in phase 1 clinical trials, and is able to ensure that personal information about participants is kept secure.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
