The study aims to know the effectiveness of mathematics teaching material used based on ethnomathematics toward mathematical solving problem skill and student critical thinking and to know how student activity on mathematics learning by applying mathematics teaching material based on ethnomathematics. Research method applies a quantitative method with post-test only control design research type. Sampling technique applies cluster random sampling. Data collection technique applies documentation, observation, and test method. Data analysis technique applies quantitative data analysis by using t-test. Based on data analysis result, mathematics teaching material based on ethnomathematics proves effective toward solving problem skill and student mathematical critical thinking. Besides, by applying mathematics teaching material can raise student activity.
This study aims to find out the process of designing test instruments and produce instrument design test mathematical problem-solving ability based on game unity. The research method used is Research and Development by using the Addie model. ADDIE stage used is analyze and Design. The analysis is carried out by the stages of problem formulation, collecting data, evaluating data feasibility, analyzing and interpreting relevant data, and organizing and presenting results that are then obtained compared to current issues, while the design is done by making hypothetical designs, then developed into a display design using the software. The results obtained are the process of designing instrument test mathematical problem-solving ability based on game unity can be designed with the stages of searching for valid mathematical problem-solving ability test or create a problem that is then validated, flowchart creation, design, and application creation using game engine unity. Test instrument design is made using a unity game engine, problem presentation is made in the form of images and instructions, and filling answers using ideal problem-solving stages.
Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis sangat penting karena menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam dunia pendidikan pada abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dalam menyelesaikan soal sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian tes serta wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi yang dikategorikan berdasakan tingkatan kemampuan awal matematika, yaitu siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi, siswa dengan kemampuan sedang, dan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dan kemampuan sedang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada tingkat 3 (kreatif) memenuhi aspek fluency dan flexibility, dan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada tingkat 1 (kurang kreatif) memenuhi aspek fluency.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek penelitian sebanyak empat orang siswa dengan teknik pengambilan subjek secara purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Setelah data dianalisis kemudian divalidasi keabsahan datanya dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik, yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil dari jawaban siswa pada soal tes dan hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah jenis kesalahan konsep yang dilakukan subjek penelitian pada kesalahan konsep mencapai 32,26%. Kemudian jenis kesalahan prosedur adalah kesalahan yang sering dilakukan oleh subjek penelitian, kesalahan prosedur mencapai 48.39%. Serta jenis kesalahan dalam menggunakan operasi atau perhitungan sebanyak 19,35%.
Abstract. This paper describes the validity analysis of applied statistical teaching materials based on ICT and project integrated which one of the first step of research and development, namely expert judgment. The instruments used in this study are the validation sheet of materials and ICT experts. The material expert validation sheet comprises 44 statements covering 4 aspects of the assessment, namely the feasibility of the material aspect, the feasibility of the language aspect, the feasibility of the teaching materials presentation aspect, and the feasibility of teaching effects on the student learning process. The ICT expert validation sheet consists of 15 statements regarding the assessment of the feasibility of teaching materials in terms of ICT aspects. Validator involved in this research is 3 experts. Data of this research are analyzed descriptively. The result of research indicate that 86,60% criteria of material aspect have been fulfilled and categorized as very good (4,33), 86% criteria of language aspect have been fulfilled and categorized as very good (4,30), 90% has been fulfilled and categorized as excellent (4.50), 96.60% criteria of the effects of the teaching materials on the learning process of students have been fulfilled and categorized as excellent (4.83), and 94.60% criteria of ICT aspects have been met and categorized as excellent (4.73). Based on these data, 91.60% of the criteria for the assessment of the feasibility of applied statistical teaching materials based on ICT and project integrated developed have been fulfilled, classified as excellent category (4.58) and appropriate for use in learning. Artikel ini berisi tentang analisis validitas bahan ajar statistka terapan berbasis ICT terintegrasi proyek yang merupakan salah satu bagian dari penelitian pengembangan (research and development) tahap pertama, yaitu expert judgement. Intrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli ICT. Lembar validasi ahli materi terdiri 44 pernyataan yang mencakup 4 aspek penilaian, yaitu kelayakan aspek materi, kelayakan aspek penggunaan bahasa, kelayakan aspek penyajian bahan ajar, dan kelayakan efek bahan ajar terhadap proses belajar mahasiswa. Lembar validasi ahli ICT terdiri dari 15 pernyataan mengenai penilaian kelayakan bahan ajar ditinjau dari aspek ICT. Validator yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 orang ahli di bidang pendidikan matematika dan 1 orang ahli bidang ICT. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 86,60% kriteria kelayakan aspek materi sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,33), 86% kriteria kelayakan aspek kebahasaan sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,30), 90% kriteria kelayakan aspek penyajian sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,50), 96,60% kriteria kelayakan efek bahan ajar terhadap proses belajar mahasiswa sudah terpenuhi tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,83), serta 94,60% kriteria kelayakan aspek ICT sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,73). Berdasarkan data tersebut, 91,60% kriteria penilaian kelayakan bahan ajar statistika terapan berbasis ICT terintegrasi proyek yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,58) serta layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Students are the main, vital, and central customers that must be served in a college. The college success is characterized by the quality of services provided, and service quality can be identified through student satisfaction. Therefore, knowledge is needed related to variables that affect student satisfaction, especially in the learning process. This study suspects that the knowledge and teaching methods used by educators in the learning process, the depth of material delivered, the implementation of the learning process, the clarity of the assessment of learning outcomes, and the affective interactions of lecturers and students affect the level of student satisfaction. This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the Bootstrap parameter estimation method. The results showed that all the indicators forming the six latent variables used in this study were significant, so the models met the fit category. The results showed there was a positive and significant effect of the quality of teaching on the level of student satisfaction in the learning process by 19%. However, based on the five variables forming the quality of teaching, only the variable knowledge and teaching methods of lecturers have a significant effect on the level of student satisfaction.
