Palembang comprises 16 districts, but in this research, the focus area is limited to 8 districts namely Sukarami, Sako, Sematang Borang, Kalidoni, Kemuning, Ilir Timur II, Seberang Ulu II, and Plaju. There are currently only 7 districts that have emergency installations. This research is designed to optimize the number and location of emergency installation in Palembang. Optimization of emergency installation location is required to improve health services in Palembang. This optimization uses covering-based models that include location set covering problem and maximal covering location problem. The solutions are obtained by using branch and bound solver on Lingo 13.0. The results of the computation with the best time of 15 minutes are 6 locations of emergency installations in order to serve the existing 8 districts.
The New Tiedtke and Kain-Fritsch schemes in WRF-ARW had been applied separately for the case of short-term weather predictions in Palembang and its surroundings from 1 to 7 December 2017. The WRF-ARW predictions compared to observation data at SMB II station showed that the Kain-Fritsch scheme gave better results than the New Tiedtke scheme either for temperature (MAE = 1.24 ° C to 1.31 ° C, RMSE = 1.49 ° C to 1.60 ° C, and MAPE = 4.46 to 4.67) or for relative humidity (MAE = 6.24% to 6.54%, RMSE = 7.61 % of 8.28%, and MAPE = 8.16% for 8.61%). However, for precipitation predictions even from dichotomous test the FBI value obtained by the Kain-Fritsch scheme (FBI=2.6) is better than that by the New Tiedtke scheme (FBI=3) with a FBI value of 3, both schemes could not predict precipitation well (ACC = 0.67 to 0.64, TS = 0 to 0, POD = 0 to 0, FAR = 1 to 1).
The daily rainfall prediction calculated from four Cumulus schemes i.e.: Kain-Fritsch (KF), New Tiedtke (NT), Grell 3D ensemble (G3D), and Betts-Miller-Janjic (BMJ) had been tested for compliance with daily observation data for 90 days (1 Dec 2018 to 28 Feb 2019) from three observer stations in Palembang city: BMKG-Kenten (Kenten), BMKG-SMB2 (SMB2) and Unsri Bukit Besar (UBB). The test results show that the BMJ cumulus scheme provides better suitability for 19 out of 45 unique indicators for rainfall event indicator (REI) groups and for as many as 13 out of 27 unique indicators for rainfall intensity indicator (RII) groups. The four schemes are able to provide the good performance for each on different indicators and stations, however, in general the BMJ scheme gives the best performance in predicting daily rainfall over Palembang city.
Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan perancangan kunci pintu otomatis dengan personal identification number (PIN) berbasis Mikrokontrler ATMega8535 pada hari sabtu, tanggal tanggal 2 november tahun 2019 yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Banyuasin I. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan, minat, kreativitas dan inovasi kepada siswa dan menjadikan kegiatan pelatihan ini sebagai pemicu bagi siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi inovasi di bidang teknologi menggunakan mikrokontroler. Perangkat keras yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini terdiri dari solenoid door lock, relay, keypad 3x4, LCD 16 x 2, push button switch, buzzer dan mikrokontroler ATMega8535. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini menggunakan Basic Compiler AVR. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan prototipe kunci pintu otomatis menggunakan PIN dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang aplikasi mikrokontroler. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa untuk menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar pada post test 45,5% dari sebelumnya hanya mampu menjawab dengan benar 21,5% pada pre test menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang mikrokontroler dan aplikasinya.
Pengabdian pada masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan perancangan papan skor pertandingan olahraga pada siswa SMA. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab dan praktik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua bentuk yaitu secara online melalui Zoom Meeting sebanyak 10 pertemuan dan secara offline sebanyak 3 pertemuan di lokasi SMAN 2 Banyuasi I. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan prototipe papan skor sederhana menggunakan IC CMOS CD4029 sebagai counter, IC CD4511 sebagai decoder BCD ke praga 7 segmen serta tampilan menggunakan seven segment. Pelatihan ini juga menjadi bahan edukasi siswa SMA yang menjadi peserta pelatihan tentang bidang rangkaian digital serta aplikasinya. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan antusias peserta terhadap pelatihan ini dengan kehadiran mencapai 93.5% saat pelatihan online dan 98.3% saat pelatihan offline. Peningkatan skor sebesar 51.69% dari skor pre-test dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap materi rangkaian digital dan aplikasinya.
