Poster abstracts an hemorrhagic image of the nervous system, confirmed in the post natal examination. Conclusion: MRI is a very interesting method that can be utilized in the fetus, mainly in those with nervous system anomalies. The informations may aid in counseling the parents with a pre natal diagnosis of ventriculomegaly, an US finding with so many possible associations.
P10.07Reference range of fetal liver volume by three-dimensional ultrasonography at 27-38 weeks of pregnancy
São Paulo Federal University, São Paulo, BrazilObjective: Establish normative data for fetal liver volume (FLV) between 27 and 38 weeks gestation using three-dimensional ultrasonography (3DUS). Methods: This was a longitudinal prospective study involving 53 healthy participants. A total of 250 FLV measures were obtained; each pregnancy was evaluated 4 to 5 times during the study. The multiplanar method with 3.0 mm intervals was used. Polynomial regressions with adjustments using the determination coefficient (R<2>) were used to assess the correlation between FLV and gestational age (GA) and fetal parameters [biparietal diameter (BPD), head circumference (HC), abdominal circumference AC) and estimated fetal weight (EFW)]. The mean, standard deviation, median, minimum and maximum values were calculated for each gestational age. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), BlandAltman graphs and Student's paired t test (P) were used to determine inter and intraobserver reliability. Results: There was a high correlation between FLV and GA. The exponential regression was the model that best expressed the correlation between these variables: VHF = exp (0.114 × GA + 1.909), R<2>= 0.815. The mean FLV went from 43.5 ± 7.6 cm<3>(29.1-62.2 cm<3>) to 130.5 ± 20.1 cm<3> (87.5-191.1 cm<3>). There was a high correlation between FLV and all fetal biometric parameters (BPD, HC, AC and EFW), all p< 0.0001. Intraobserver correlation was excellent with an ICC = 0.993; p-0.995 and mean differences of 0.09. Interobserver correlation was also excellent with an ICC = 0.984; P = 0.195 and mean difference of 1.17 cm<3>. Conclusions: There was a high correlation between GA and biometric parameters. Reference limits were generated for FLV between 27 and 38 weeks. FLV is highly reproducible.
