Dalam lampiran Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 21 Tahun 2015, dinyatakan bahwa untuk mengurangi risiko kesakitan dan kematian pada balita dengan kekurangan Vitamin A, pemerintah menyelenggarakan kegiatan pemberian Vitamin A dalam bentuk kapsul vitamin A biru 100.000 IU bagi bayi usia 6-11 bulan, kapsul vitamin A merah 200.000 IU untuk anak balita usia 12-59 bulan, dan ibu nifas (Kemenkes, 2017). Desa Beringin Lestari berada dibawah target pencapaian yakni hanya 30,60% untuk pemberian vitamin A warna biru dan 43,10% dan 69,03% untuk pemberian vitamin A warna merah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian vitamin A pada balita di posyandu Desa Beringin Lestari wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tapung Hilir 1 Kabupaten Kampar Tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2018 dengan jumlah sampel 66 orang balita diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik Systematic Random Sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai balita (6-59 bulan) yang berkunjung ke posyandu Desa Beringin Lestari wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tapung Hilir 1 Kabupaten Kampar pada bulan Januari – Desember tahun 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat dan bivariate dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan pemberian vitamin A pada balita adalah variabel pengetahuan ibu nilai (p=0,015) dan variabel keaktifan balita dalam berkunjung ke posyandu nilai (p=0,000). Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah peran kader nilai (p=0,203). Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan keaktifan balita dalam berkunjung ke posyandu dengan Pemberian Vitamin A pada Balita di posyandu Desa Beringin Lestari wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tapung Hilir 1 Kabupaten Kampar Tahun 2018. Disarankan diadakan penyuluhan secara berkala mengenai hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan pemberian vitamin A dan meningkatkan peran kader dalam pemberian vitamin A pada balita.
World Hearth Organization (WHO), sedikitnya terdapat 135 juta orang yang mengalami disabilitas penglihatan yang sangat signifikan dan terdapat lebih dari 50 juta orang buta di seluruh dunia saat ini, dengan penyebab kebutaan terbanyak adalah katarak (51%). Terjadinya katarak senilis berhubungan dengan diabetes melitus, riwayat keluarga dengan katarak, pemakaian steroid yang lama, merokok, terpajan sinar ultravioet (UV). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan terjadinya katarak senilis pada pasien di poli mata RSUD Bangkinang. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang penderita katarak di poli mata RSUD Bangkinang yang dilaksanakan bulan Juli 2019, dengan menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Analisa yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi Square pada tingkat kemaknaan 95% (p≤0,05), menunjukkan bahwa yang mengalami katarak senilis sebanyak 22 orang (73,3%), diabetes melitus 20 orang (66,7%), riwayat keluarga dengan katarak sebanyak 17 orang (56,7%), tidak memakai obat steroid yang lama sebanyak 19 orang (63,3%), merokok sebanyak 21 orang (70,0%), terpajan sinar ultraviolet sebanyak 23 orang (76,7%). Didapatkan ada hubungan riwayat diabetes melitus (p value 0,007), riwayat keluarga dengan katarak (p value 0,009), merokok (p value 0,03), terpajan sinar ultraviolet (matahari) (p value 0,00) dengan kejadian katarak senilis, tidak ada hubungan pemakaian steroid lama (p value 0,67) dengan kejadian katarak senilis. Diharapkan kepada responden untuk menggunakan pelindung mata (kaca mata buram), menghindari merokok dan mengontrol kadar gula darah secara rutin.
Salah satu indikator keberhasilan penanggulangan medik penderita gawat darurat adalah kecepatan memberikan pertolongan yang memadai kepada penderita gawat darurat baik pada keadaan rutin sehari-hari atau sewaktu bencana. Keberhasilan waktu tanggap atau response time sangat tergantung kepada kecepatan yang tersedia serta kualitas pemberian pertolongan untuk menyelamatkan nyawa pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan response time pelayanan Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien di RSUD Bangkinang tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian analitik dengan rancangan cros sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien yang datang ke IGD dengan jumlah 80 orang yang diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling.alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat.Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar respon time perawat IGD adalah lambat (> 5 menit) yaitu 51 orang (63,8%), sebagian besar pasien tidak puas dengan pelayanan IGD yaitu 47 orang (58,8%. Berdasarkan uji statistik ada hubungan Response Time Pelayanan Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Dengan Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien di RSUD Bangkinang tahun 2018 dengan p value 0,002. Diharapkan diharapkan kepada perawat agar menerapkan respon time pada pasien dengan cepat terhadap kegawatdaruratan di Instalasi Gawat Darurat.
This article discusses the development of a model of environmental health literacy to maintain a sustainable ecosystem on peatlands. In maintaining the sustainable peatland ecosystem, an environmental health literacy model is needed so that the community can follow up on the health of the surrounding environment. To make informed decisions, communities must have the ability to obtain, process and understand health and environmental information. The approaches used in environmental health literacy are 1 - basic, and functional literacy with efforts to evaluate environmental health information, 2 - communicative interactive and awareness literacy in reducing health and environmental risks and 3 - improving quality of life and protecting the environment with provide education so as to change people's behavior. Ultimately, efforts to develop this model of environmental health literacy are intended to prevent the occurrence of peatland ecosystem damage and can empower communities through an increased understanding of health risks and environmental risks that affect health and the environment.
