Indonesian online sales have received remarkable growth with as high as 20% consistently every year. In 2016, there were estimated more than 180 million internet users and have reached 40% of 250 million total inhabitants. Based on the surveys, there are four most popular online vendors in Indonesia, such as: Lazada, Tokopedia, OnLine eXchange and Bukalapak, with strong customer bases. Due to its tremendous growth, however, there is still very few studies can be found to understand the characteristics of emarketplace in Indonesia. For this reason, the article examines those most popular online vendors in Jakarta area, where the most buyers tend to have more experiences in conducting online purchases. The article utilizes the revised TAM as a valuable method to assess the important factors of online purchases such as: buyer and satisfaction factors, that comprised of: buyer perceived risk, seller's expertise and reputation, and convenience of buying. The findings are aimed to address the important factors that can be used to increase buyer satisfaction. The outcomes of the study are expected to provide valuable guidance for all e-sellers and buyers to understand Indonesian e-marketplace.
Software quality testing is one of the stages in SDLC (systems development life cycle). Software or application testing can’t ensure quality free of bugs or errors, but can provide trust and assurance to the application at some level. Software of freight forwarding, from the development, implementation and testing of this application can achieve some desired objectives by the user that is to help transportation services become more effective and efficient, providing convenience in terms of data and information process. With the use of the application compared with the process of recording manually is facilitate the decision makers to be able to monitor transactions and reports in a short time. To design and implement reliable Information Systems (IS) of freight forwarding and avoid bugs or errors, comprehensive testing is required based on the ISO 9126 method, which includes attributes such as aspects of functionality and Maintainability. Testing an application or software is an activity to check if the actual results match the expected results and to ensure that the application is bug-free. IS of freight forwarding services is appropriate and able to become software in the desired by the user consisting of input, process, and output.
Managing parking system has become major issues in almost all malls in Jakarta. The majority of mall in Jakarta have difficulty to develop plan that enables to optimize their parking slots. Some malls use valet system to gain more profit or ease the customers, unfortunately the valet system price is quite expensive for major customers and it sounds unpopular. Therefore, many area of valet parking space is not maximized. The similar problems also faced by traditional parking system where it creates problems for customers such as difficult to find parking space, paper ticket missing and unable to locate car location. The purpose in this study is to propose a Smart Parking System (SPS) through the use of Internet of Things (IoT). The article applies smart parking system that enables online booking system, paperless ticket, cashless payments and automated guided parking. The objective of the article is expected to enhance the current online parking management system with IoT design, with the aim to be used as reference for parking management in malls.
Recent technologies create a connectivity between business and their customers. Business can collect real time customer data by using internet of things and then processing those data using big data management to resolve problems, or to create new products. Insurance is a business industry that uses historical customer data to decide certain business aspects, such as premium amount for customer. Insurance company can combine internet of things and big data to collect customer's data in real time and then use it to give fair and accurate premium calculation for the customer. Customer data is collected using various sensors in their smart watch and saved by an application. The application send the data to insurance company's system through the internet. The customer data are stored and processed in Hadoop as the big data management system. Customer data are going through an analytical process to create result about specific customer's risk which later can be used to calculate premium.
