The plant water or nutrient requirement under greenhouse conditions is mainly governed by crop transpiration in a linear relation to vapour pressure deficit (VPD), particularly in soilless production systems. Being a cooling process in plants, transpiration governs the plant water requirement in relation to the subjected microclimatic conditions and VPD can be used as a tool to maintain greenhouse crop transpiration to optimal range for obtaining desired crop yields. Thus, the present investigation was undertaken to study the integrated effect of temperature (Tapc), relative humidity (Eapc) and solar radiation (Irad) on VPD and crop transpiration. A computer module was developed to monitor the behavior of the VPD and thereby the crop transpiration through charts under greenhouse conditions. The VPD indicated a linear increasing trend with Tapc (R2≥0.84) and decreasing trend with Eapc (R2=0.99), demonstrating a strong correlation in both cases. The increasing crop transpiration with VPD, particularly under hot climatic conditions significantly increased the input water and nutrient requirements of the crop. Thus, transpiration in relation to VPD should be considered as a factor for fertigation scheduling and improving irrigation control in soilless systems. Moreover, maintaining Tapc, Eapc and VPD within range of 22-27°C, 60-80% and 0.53-1.10 kPa may help to control the crop transpiration, manage the greenhouse irrigation and fertigation, and thus improve the cucumber yield.
Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) is a basic concept that considers public-key cryptography. Ciphertext-Policy ABE (CP-ABE) is one of the approaches used by ABE for data sharing in the cloud. In CP-ABE scheme, each user’s private key has a set of attributes and then the user decrypts a ciphertext if it holds a matching key. Our proposed system provides an extension to CP-ABE by implementing AES. AES uses a symmetric encryption key algorithm for a same set of keys. Our system provides a higher security through AES because of its complexity and helps in generating the content key . This key is used during the encryption of the original file over the cloud. Our methodology also focuses on deduplication to provide less consumption of cloud storage over the cloud. Another advantage of using this system is to provide an efficient way of data access via access policies for a certain set of credentials.
Security in any of the networks became an important issue in this paper we have implemented a security mechanism on Medium Access Control layer by Assured Neighbor based Security Protocol to provide authentication and confidentiality of packets along with High speed transmission for Ad hoc networks. Here we have divided the protocol into two different parts. The first part deals with Routing layer information; in this part we have tried to implement a possible strategy for detecting and isolating the malicious nodes. A trust counter for each node is determined which can be actively increased and decreased depending upon the trust value for the purpose of forwarding the packets from source node to destination node with the help of intermediate nodes. A threshold level is also predetermined to detect the malicious nodes. If the value of the node in trust counter is less than the threshold value then the node is denoted 'malicious'. The second part of our protocol deals with the security in the link layer. For this security reason we have used CTR (Counter) approach for authentication and encryption.We have simulated all our strategies and schemes in NS-2, the result of which gives a conclusion that our proposed protocol i.e. Assured Neighbor based Security Protocol can perform high packet delivery against various intruders and also packet delivery ratio against mobility with low delays and low overheads.
