Esta pesquisa tem o objetivo de identificar as ações de saúde mental desenvolvidas no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) voltadas para a família no cuidado do indivíduo com sofrimento psíquico. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, analítico e do tipo estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa. Para a coleta dos dados, foram realizadas a observação e a entrevista semi-estruturada com profissionais de um CAPS. Os resultados mostraram que o trabalho no CAPS só se concretiza pela parceria e participação familiar. O atendimento individual, o grupo de família, a busca ativa, a visita domiciliar e as oficinas são estratégias realizadas no CAPS na efetivação da inserção da família. Nessa parceria, o vínculo aparece como fundamental na construção de caminhos menos sofridos e menos estigmatizados da vivência do sofrimento psíquico.
Pretende-se, com este trabalho, instigar o profissional de enfermagem a repensar seu fazer, saber e ser. Trata-se de uma reflexão crítica quanto ao cuidado dispensado à profissão do cuidado. Acredita-se que este deva iniciar com a busca, ocupação ou conhecimento, de um espaço sócio-político que possibilite a conquista de prestígio às competências adquiridas numa prática social de envolvimento íntimo com o indivíduo, sociedade e ambiente. Com base na construção dos saberes de enfermagem, historicamente determinados pelas necessidades compreendidas pela inserção social no campo da saúde, consideram-se os padrões de conhecimento fundamentais em enfermagem, bem como, o campo de atuação e o espaço social da profissão, para apontar considerações relevantes sobre a formação do ser sócio-político. Contudo, há, de fato, espaço para o profissional neste campo de atuação? Defende-se aqui, a necessidade de ocupar espaços que dêem margem ao reconhecimento da enfermagem como protagonista da práxis em saúde e na sociedade.
A família é a instituição indispensável para a garantia da sobrevivência e da proteção integral dos membros que a constituem, sendo um elemento chave para o redimensionamento da assistência em saúde mental, no contexto da reforma psiquiátrica. Quando um familiar está doente, afeta não apenas a qualidade de vida, como também a saúde de todos. Este estudo tem, portanto, como objetivo – identificar as ações de saúde mental desenvolvidas nos Centros de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS)*** voltadas à família do portador de transtorno psíquico, caracterizandose em um estudo descritivo e analítico, com abordagem qualitativa. Foi realizado na cidade de Pelotas/RS, com os coordenadores dos 6 CAPS II, totalizando seis entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Após a transcrição dos dados e sucessivas leituras, procedeu-se a uma organização temática enfocando as ações de saúde mental desenvolvidas nestes espaços para possibilitar a inserção da família no cuidado do portador de transtorno psíquico. Os resultados obtidos referentes as ações, foram: educação como forma de prevenção e promoção da saúde; reabilitação psicossocial; contratualidade entre usuários, familiares e técnicos e interação da equipe do Programa Saúde da Família com o serviço substitutivo. Conclui-se neste estudo que os coordenadores dos CAPS estão cientes dessa importância, fato demonstrado pelas diversas estratégias e ações adotadas, voltadas à família do portador de transtorno psíquico.
RESUMONo presente estudo propõe-se a investigar a abordagem da temática de ensino de enfermagem psiquiátrica e saúde mental na produção científica da área do período compreendido entre 1980-2001. Das áreas temáticas levantadas, 13 artigos trabalham com a temática de ensino de graduação em enfermagem psiquiátrica e saúde mental, seis deles ressaltam as experiências e vivências dos alunos de graduação durante a disciplina de Enfermagem Psiquiátrica, três enfatizam a relevância da disciplina para a formação do enfermeiro e dão ênfase ao relacionamento terapêutico e quatro destacam especificamente as mudanças histórico-sociais no campo da assistência em saúde mental e suas influências no ensino na área.Descritores: Enfermagem Psiquiátrica; Educação em Enfermagem; Saúde Mental. ABSTRACTIn the present study is considered the investigation about the boarding of thematic of teaching of psychiatric and mental health nursing in the scientific production of the area of the period from 1980 to 2001. Of the raised thematic areas, 13 articles worked with the thematic of the under graduation teaching in psychiatric and mental health nursing, six of them stand out the experiences of the under graduation students during psychiatric nursing discipline, three emphasize the relevance of the discipline for the formation of the nurse and give emphasis to the therapeutical relationship and four specifically speaks the historic-social changes in the field of the mental health assistance and its influences in the teaching in the area.Descriptors: Education; Nursing; Psychiatric Nursing; Mental Health.
