A documentary review was made under the following categories: conceptual approaches, components, methodological processes used to characterize it, relationship between this type of knowledge and professional development, and some results and conclusions of the investigations. The study makes it clear that the original idea of the pck proposed by Shulman remains, despite the difficulties pointed out by the author himself; as for the main pck models, they are the ones proposed by Magnusson, Krajcik andBorko (1999), andOliver (2008;2008a). The most frequent components found in the studies are student knowledge and teaching strategies, while the curriculum is

AbstractThe science's didactic as a discipline in consolidation, is built through several lines of research, including The Professional Knowledge of the Teacher, which arises because of the need to understand how teachers in training and in the exercise of a unique knowledge of their profession. The DOC Axes (Dynamic, Obstruction and Questioning), constitute a conceptual and methodological device of reflexive order on the aspects that are articulated in the construction of the Professional Knowledge of the Professor.
