ResumenLas empresas que "nacieron globalizadas" son la llave del crecimiento económico en diferentes países. Los autores investigaron el concepto social y asuntos éticos que tienen estas empresas emprendedoras durante los periodos de crecimiento de sus negocios. La falta de responsabilidad social ha empezado a marcar pérdidas económicas para las empresas, mientras que la permanente vigilancia de la sociedad premia con mayores ingresos a las empresas comprometidas con una adecuada responsabilidad social. Este documento entrega una revisión crítica y evaluación de cómo las compañías con base en su responsabilidad social y principios éticos han contribuido no solo con el desarrollo de la organización, sino también con el de la sociedad.Palabras clave: Responsabilidad social; global; principios éticos; nacieron globales. Abstract:Companies that "Born Globals", are the key to economic growth in different countries. The authors investigate the social concept and ethical issues that theses entrepreneurial companies have during the period of growth of their business. The lack of social responsibility has begun to mark economic losses for companies, while the permanent vigilance of the society rewards with greater income to the companies committed with an adequate social responsibility. This paper provides a critical review and assessment of how companies base on their social responsibility and ethical principles have contributed not only to the development of the organization but also to society.Keyword: ethical; were born-global; business entrepreneurs; social IntroducciónEl mundo se ha convertido en una aldea globalizada, y sin duda la globalización ha traído nuevos retos, oportunidades y riesgos para las empresas (Vasconcellos et al., 2011). Es importante explorar el concepto de las empresas que nacieron globales; además de conocer los cuatro tipos de empresas internacionales que influyen en la economía de los países.
La seguridad en la cadena logística en el marco del programa denominado Operador Económico Autorizado (OEA), tanto de nuestro país, así como de los que conforman la Comunidad Andina (CAN) es un tema poco investigado. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue diagnosticar la situación actual del programa OEA en los países de la CAN. Para analizarlo, fue necesario comparar los beneficios que otorgan las entidades aduaneras a los OEA en cada país de la CAN, así como también fue importante consultar a las empresas exportadoras ecuatorianas sus diferentes puntos de vista frente a la implementación del programa OEA en Ecuador. Para el establecimiento del diagnóstico de los OEA se utilizó un nivel de estudio descriptivo y exploratorio con modalidad documental, y para el análisis de las empresas exportadoras del Ecuador se empleó el método cuantitativo, basado en estadística descriptiva. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan una importante cantidad de beneficios otorgados por la entidad aduanera del Ecuador en comparación a los que otorgan las mismas entidades en los países que conforman la CAN. En cuanto a las empresas exportadoras ecuatorianas se deduce que es poco lo que conocen en referencia al programa OEA.
La globalización generó que el ambiente entre las empresas que actúan en los mercados internacionales fuese hiper- competitivo, una mínima diferenciación puede otorgar una ventaja competitiva para cualquiera de los actuantes de la cadena, ya sea por aspectos relacionados con procesos de producción, talento humano, finanzas o marketing. Dentro de este último, en los canales de distribución juega un rol importante la administración de las cadenas logísticas “supply chain managment” , donde uno de los factores críticos es su propio aseguramiento. A partir de los acontecimientos del 11 de septiembre del 2 001 se potenció la necesidad de mejorar, controlar y asegurar las cadenas logísticas de importadores y exportadores, desde el momento que los productos salen del almacén de despacho, pasan por toda la cadena de operadores de comercio exterior, quienes deben manipular adecuadamente las mercancías además de cumplir con la legislación vigente en los mercados de origen y destino. Bajo este contexto (OMA, 2005) la Organización Mundial de Aduanas recomendó la implementación de una serie de lineamientos que precisamente salvaguardan la seguridad en la cadena logística, y que se recogen en el denominado Operador Económico Autorizado OEA o AEO (por sus siglas en inglés Authorized Economic Operator), que busca a través de una alianza entre las aduanas de los estados adherentes y el sector privado, la coordinación entre los miembros de la cadena logística para fortalecer su seguridad a cambio de facilitación en los procesos aduaneros. La presente investigación se enfocó en diagnosticar la situación actual del programa de implementación de OEA en el Ecuador, que a la luz de la cantidad de operadores autorizados, se concluye que el programa no ha funcionado, por tanto, fue menester en esta investigación establecer las posibles causas que influyeron para tener estos resultados.
