The article aims to show that the main and most important prerequisite for successful hotel business growth in current promptly changing business environment becomes development of innovation in the hotel industry. Though the term innovation is already widely defined by many researchers, it is considered in the article as a subject for future discussions leading to proposed scientific classification of innovations based on selected criterions. Evaluation of the process of innovation appearance in the hotel market allowed creation of the model, presenting the main influences and attributes of the whole innovation process in a hotel industry. Afterwards, the article discusses some specific innovation tools that are essential for hotel enterprises and which could be challenging for hoteliers in Ukrainian market nowadays. Based on the empirical research results, the obstacles which hinder up-to-date innovative operations in Ukrainian Radisson chain hospitality market are discussed. As well, concerning prospective innovation trends for Radisson Hotels in Ukraine, advices for future innovation implementation were proposed.
The article aims to show why and how trust and its components of are important within organizational context. Trust in virtual teams is a rather new and little studied field. Explicit understandings of what is a virtual team together with which dimensions define such team are provided. Afterwards, the article discuss what specific challenges virtual teams face when attempting to establish trust between its members providing knowledge on what actions and behaviors can build trust in a virtual team and overcome the challenges specific to virtual teams. Due to certain virtual teams' specifics (geographic dispersion, electronic dependence, dynamic structure and cultural diversity) trust in these teams is usually low. Based on the empirical research results methods for building trust in the virtual team are suggested. KEY WORDS: trust, virtual team, trust building in a virtual team.
Pasaulio ekonomikos išsivystymo lygis ir vis labiau intensyvėjanti globalizacijos procesų skatinama ekonominė integracija meta iššūkį valstybėms, siekiančioms dalyvauti šiuose procesuose, padidinti konkurencinį pranašumą pasaulinėje rinkoje. Šiuolaikinėje globalioje verslo aplinkoje vykstantys pokyčiai skatina rasti naujų gebėjimų palaikyti ir plėsti visus tarptautinius prekybinius santykius. Regioninių prekybos ryšių plėtra turi būti laikoma tarpiniu etapu, leidžiančiu verslo subjektams laipsniškai įgyti naujų žinių, patirties, kaip sėkmingai konkuruoti integruotoje Europos Sąjungos rinkoje. Spartus valstybių ekonominis augimas susijęs su spartesne užsienio prekybos plėtra kaip viena iš pasaulinio ūkio globalizaciją skatinančių jėgų. Globalizacijos procesai, skatinami didėjančių rinkos poreikių, mažėjančių prekybos kliūčių tarp nacionalinių ekonomikų, verčia aiškintis ir analizuoti Lietuvos užsienio prekybos pokyčius ir numatyti priemones, siekiant įtraukti Lietuvos verslo subjektus į debatus dėl globalizacijos tendencijų poveikio užsienio prekybai. Vykstant globaliai plėtrai Lietuvos verslo įmonėms svarbu pasirinkti tinkamus užsienio prekybos plėtros būdus, padedančius išlikti konkurencingoms globalioje ekonomikoje ir tinkamai reaguoti į palankias pasaulinės rinkos galimybes. Todėl reikėtų siekti plėtoti bendradarbiavimą ir eksporto-importo ryšius ne tik įsitraukiant į ES bendrąją rinką ir jos vykdomą užsienio prekybos politiką, bet ir adekvačiai reaguoti į integruotos rinkos teikiamas pasaulinės plėtros galimybes.Straipsnio tikslas - išryškinti svarbiausius Lietuvos užsienio prekybos pokyčius, numatyti užsienio prekybos plėtros ir konkurencingumo didinimo integruotoje rinkoje priemones.Naudoti metodai - literatūros analizė ir apibendrinimai, lyginamoji analizė.
The article aims to show that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs is of great significance and play a crucial role in almost every nation's economy and as such have become a major source of employment creation and income generation which induces innovation and economic growth. The SMEs sector is of specific importance for the development of the Republic of Moldova. Creating a business environment that fosters small business and entrepreneurship development in Moldova is a key to generating wider economic growth in the country. As entrepreneurship in Moldova represents a rather new definition and the entrepreneurial activity is very poor, in this context, the need for SMEs sector support through the creation of stable legal and economic conditions favoring entrepreneurial activity development is evident. Empirical research revealed main problems facing Moldovan SMEs, and their attitudes to entrepreneurship development.

Theoretical and empirical researches highlight the importance of competitiveness in a national framework for business growth and development in the current era of globalization. The article examines how the challenges of competitiveness and innovation interrelate and how their synthesis links with economic growth. Therefore, gaining competitiveness through innovativeness, the capability to be innovative is one of the most important prerequisites for creating successful businesses, sophisticated products and production processes and raising the standards of living.
