Violence by adolescents and young people is on the rise, as reported by international, national and local agencies. Yucatán has a significant number of adolescents who are under the supervision of the justice system, having been the actors in crimes that can range from robberies to homicides. Is necessary design, implement and evaluate programs that promote the development of skills that allow them to reintegrate into society as positive social actors, preventing recidivism and prolongation of the criminal career in adult life. The work presented below contains a proposal for intervention for the development of social skills in an adolescent in conflict with the law. The methodological sequence of three phases is presented: diagnosis, implementation of the workshop for the development of social skills and the evaluation of the results obtained. It should be noted that the workshop was designed taking into account the theoretical and empirical positions that stand out as effective in interventions with adolescents in conflict with the law. Using a system of categorization and description of indicators, it was possible to identify a high degree of success in achieving the objectives of the intervention, since it corroborated the acquisition of knowledge and the modification of behavioral patterns in adolescents.
