ATA are presented in this report concerning: (I) the nature of the sex in-D formation of 291 pre-adolescent and early adolescent boys; (2) ages a t which the information was acquired;(3) sources of information; (4) the sex vocabularies of these boys. The data are drawn from the complete sex histories of these boys. All of the histories were obtained by personal interview. Ages ranged from 10 to 20 years, although 85 per cent of the population ranged from 12 to 16 years of age. Five of the boys were Negro and 286 were white.
