Using oxygen enriched with the isotope , the contribution of various forms of catalyst oxygen to the oxidation process was studied. It turned out that, contrary to expectations, the content of the isotopic label in the formed is significantly lower than expected and at the initial stage of the reaction is close to the natural content of . Taking into account that the pretreatment of the catalyst excluded the existence of any noticeable amount of adsorbed oxygen on the surface of both palladium and the support, it was concluded that is oxidized due to oxygen , and the study of the SIMS spectra showed that oxygen is involved in the process of oxidation hydroxyl cover .
The interaction of hydrazine vapors with single-crystal germanium was studied by using the thermogravimetric method. The article considers the processes taking place on the surface of Ge up to the formation of Ge3N4 nitride, in particular, the accumulation of N2H4+H2O vapors and their etching with water vapor contained in hydrazine.
The electronic suitability factor (B E ) and universal electrical conductivity (σ') of thermoelectric material 𝐵𝑖 2 𝑆𝑟 2−𝑥 [𝑆𝑟(𝐵𝑂 2 ) 2 ] 𝑥 𝐶𝑜 1.8 𝑂 𝑦 are discussed in the article. The data on B E − T, B E − S, σ ′ − T, σ ′ − σ, S − σ ′ and B E − σ ′ dependences, where T is the absolute temperature, S is the Seebeck coefficient, and σ-specific electrical conductivity, are given. It is shown that the doping of cobaltite 𝐵𝑖 2 𝑆𝑟 2 𝐶𝑜 1.8 𝑂 𝑦 with 𝑆𝑟(𝐵𝑂 2 ) 2 does not affect the σ' -Т and S-σ' dependences, which is determined by the parameter B E factor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
