Introduction: Poor oral and dental hygiene can cause debris and plaque to form which can cause demineralization of the tooth structure so that dental caries will occur. Dental and oral hygiene can also be influenced by several supporting factors including consuming foods that contain high sugar. Preschool is a child that spans around the age of 3-6 years. Preschool children are a group that is vulnerable to dental and oral diseases. Research Objectives: to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of parents with dental and oral hygiene of preschool children. Research method: using a cross sectional design, sampling using the solvate technique. Research results: using the Spearman rank correlation test obtained a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05). Conclusion: Knowledge and attitudes of parents with dental and oral hygiene of preschoolers have a strong and unidirectional relationship.
