A sepse é uma resposta imunomediada desregulada do hospedeiro à infecção, diagnosticada por escores baseados pela clínica. O uso desse método atrasa a identificação da doença, no entanto, com o advento da inteligência artificial (IA), é possível reconhecer precocemente a sepse. O trabalho objetiva avaliar o impacto da IA no diagnóstico da sepse. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de revisão bibliográfica, realizada na base de dados BVS e PUBMED, através dos descritores "sepse", "inteligência artificial", "diagnóstico precoce" e "prognóstico". RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: Os estudos avaliaram o impacto do uso da IA no diagnóstico da sepse. Observou-se que dentre os algoritmos utilizados, a maior sensibilidade alcançada foi de 91% e a especificidade de 100%. Ademais, demonstrou antecipar diagnóstico com desempenho superior aos critérios clínicos. CONCLUSÃO: O uso da IA no diagnóstico da sepse é relevante por proporcionar previsão com exatidão e em menor tempo, permitir rápido tratamento e reduzir a mortalidade da doença.
Association considers cardiac CT angiography an adequate method for diagnosing CAA. Once diagnosed, AAC must be surgically corrected promptly to prevent complications and sequelae typical of the natural history of the disease. CONCLUSIONS: Although rare, it is a lethal condition if not diagnosed and treated early. After clinical confirmation of the disease, surgical therapy presents a viable option and, in general, with a good prognosis. As it is a rare disease, further studies are still needed to determine an effective screening and optimal treatment for each patient.
