Strategic Planning is one of the management tools most used by institutions that seeks to translate the organization's strategy, define its strategic objectives, identify the main existing bottlenecks and anticipate changes. The indicators are allies of planning and fundamental to the control of processes, because they make it possible to monitor goals, correct problems and propose alternatives for solving possible problems. Therefore, this research consists of verifying the actions outlined in strategic planning in the public sector, using the balanced scorecard tool. For that, a systematic literature review was used as the methodological procedure as the main theme the use of the BSC as a strategic management tool in the public sector. Around 2.003 articles relevant to the proposed theme were identified, selected from 2015-2020, of which 11 deal directly with the use of the BSC. As a result, the survey found the concern that public organizations have been demonstrating in perfecting their strategic plans by adapting the BSC to the reality of the public sector so that they provide better services to society.
The objective of this paper is to analyze the excess of failures in a mobile phone line production in order to make process improvements in a factory of the industrial pole of Manaus (PIM) by using FMEA methodology (Failure Mode, effect analysis). The excess of failures was an extremely influential aggravating factor by its customer, since the increase of the productive capacity in the company would be determined by the reduction of the percentage of failures or increase of YIELD from the conception of the product until the final phase of its life. Tracing the root causes is an important step in improving manufacturing processes for reducing failures. The impact of this is the reduction in industrial costs and an increase in the quality index of the product, ensuring customer satisfaction in having to produce its product in a factory that operates under condition the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services).
O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em apresentar uma ferramenta a partir do design thinking que auxilie os universitários do curso de engenharia de produção utilizando conceitos de metodologias ativas e gamificação. A capacitação de profissionais do ensino superior vem obtendo diversas vertentes que buscam acompanhar o desenvolvimento tecnológico. A partir disso, buscou-se, por meio do design thinking e gamificação, a aplicação de uma metodologia ativa que reinventasse aspectos do processo de conhecimento. Essa aplicação se dá a partir da utilização da plataforma Classcraft, que torna o processo de atividade acadêmica um jogo, essa aplicação obteve demonstrou potencial em ser uma ferramenta para motivar os alunos de Engenharia de Produção em relação às avenças que podem ser encontradas durante a graduação.
The Manaus Free Trade Zone, also known as ZFM, is characterized by being an industrial hub that includes industries from different segments. When it comes to the production of cutting-edge technology, the sector of computer goods stands out, especially the product known as cell phone. Some manufacturers of this product are installed in ZFM and are world leaders in this market. The industries installed in this pole enjoy tax incentives under the condition of execution of Basic Productive Processes (BPP). From this perspective and through a qualitative methodology, using the bibliographic research procedure applied to the case study at the ZFM, the objective of this article is to carry out a bibliographic review regarding the interministerial ordinances. It was intended to evaluate its obligations and exemptions regarding the production processes provided for by these laws for the production of the portable mobile phone terminal product, during the period from 1993 to 2018. In view of this work, it was possible to identify changes in the requirements imposed by legislation according to the technological evolution of the product and the market. In addition, it allowed the government's intention to increase the production chain of this product, with the purpose to strengthen the national industry for the manufacture of particular inputs, although certain obligations imposed through percentages of domestic manufacture were changed over the period, allowing the importation of these items. Such decision makes us question the effectiveness of the adopted methodology.
The objective of this work was to evaluate how Federal Government's Cost Information System (CIS) contributed positively in the decision-making of cost management in the Caixa de Construções de Casas para o Pessoal da Marinha (Credit Institution and Construction of Houses for Navy Employees). This research proposed the hypothesis that the variables of the Cost Information System (CIS), classified by this work in System Quality (SIST-Q), Information Quality (Q-INFO) and Perceived Utility (P-UTILI) generate positive effect on decision making in the more efficient allocation of expenses at federal autarchy. The study was carried out through a “Case Study”, using descriptive statistics and the Confirmatory Factor Analysis technique, based on an information systems assessment model widely studied in the literature, proposed by Delone and Mclean. The survey results suggest that there is a moderately consistent scale for measuring the effectiveness of the Cost Information System (CIS), which is made up of the three latent variables: quality of the system, quality of information and perceived utility. It was evaluated that the CIS does not produce results for cost management because the management information extracted from the system is not used for decision making by managers. Additionally, a performance indicator was suggested to monitor federal autarchy's cost management. This work suggests that new research be carried out with other organizations that use the CIS in order to better understand the needs of organizations regarding the adequacy of the System to their needs.
With the emergence of a pandemic in the world caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19), many companies closed doors because of the lack of capital to maintain operational performance. Still, others reinvented and adapted themselves during this problem. The impact was no different on the industries, mainly on their supply chain, on inventories, and production rates, whether they are small, medium, or large. The fact is that no one left unscathed as a result of this pandemic. The general objective of this study was to present the impact on the supply chain in the hospital environment in the interior of the Amazonas state, which has an entirely different logistics arrangement from anywhere in the world. The results indicate that the proper functioning of the hospital system is directly related to the capacity to supply adequate materials that guarantee the execution of procedures with quality and higher patient satisfaction.
— Reliability is an essential item for the product development phase, as it is from estimated values are obtained about how the product will behave and, consequently, about modes of design flaws and weaknesses. In short, these responses are important to offer to the market high quality products, in addition to providing safety to the customer. In this work, a product was proposed where its design was based on research on how its shape should be and three different raw materials were chosen to be applied to the product and, with the simulation, it was possible to discover the weaknesses and points of improvement and which material best suited the proposed product.
