This article presents the educational problems and challenges that the teachers of the Academic Unit of the North of the State of Nayarit (UAEN) have manifested during the current health crisis derived from the pandemic with COVID-19, with the aim of documenting the experience and propose recommendations that rethink teaching practice. For its preparation, a questionnaire adapted from the instrument applied by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, 2020) was used, which was applied to active teachers in the Academic Unit through a google form. In which statistical data of the personnel and the opinions of the participants are collected, related to this issue, which will allow the design of a series of actions aimed at improving the processes faced by educational institutions not only in higher education but in all the types and levels of education, but especially from the Autonomous University of Nayarit.
Los cambios tan drásticos vividos durante la pandemia de la COVID-19 en el ámbito educativo, ha provocado una serie de problemas tanto en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes como de la saturación de trabajo de los académicos, en primera instancia por el tránsito de una modalidad presencial a una totalmente virtual o a distancia. En ese sentido que, los resultados que se presentan a continuación son producto de una investigación que se centra en las diferentes problemáticas a las que se enfrentan los estudiantes de la Unidad Académica del Norte del Estado de Nayarit, generadas por el cierre de las instituciones educativas. Los datos fueron obtenidos a través de la aplicación de un instrumento de elaboración propia, diseñado para este fin, se aplicó a una muestra de la población estudiantil de dicha institución. Las categorías establecidas están relacionadas con aspectos de conectividad, uso de dispositivos, conocimientos tecnológicos, problemas de tipo socio-afectivos y logísticos que pudieron enfrentar, así como cambios en la situación económica y social de los hogares de los encuestados.
The changes that have taken place since the declaration of confinement in March 2020 throughout the world due to the spread of Sars-CoV-2, has brought with it a series of transformations not only in the educational field but also in the ways of living together and relate to others, which in turn has generated changes in the various areas of action of individuals from the psychological to the individual level through work and academic. That is why this research was carried out in the Academic Unit of the North of the State of Nayarit belonging to the Autonomous University of Nayarit based in Acaponeta, to students of five educational programs that are currently offered in the school modality. An instrument was adapted to identify changes in the psychological, work, and academic fields during the pandemic. As part of the results, it is concluded that the majority of students are single, without children and with little income, of which 48.6% had a job before the pandemic and 12.5% lost it permanently, while 18.1% temporarily. And stress was one of the psychological factors that affected students in their academic performance.
