"The study is dedicated to the analysis of the peculiarities of a child’s linguistic worldview and values formation through fairy tales. The aim of the study is to identify the linguistic units representing the nominative field of the concept «Jaqsylyq / goodness», on the material of fairy tales. The algorithm used by the authors to determine language units is based on the analysis of lexical, morphological, stylistic and textual levels that verbalize the concept in fairy tales. This approach is based on the integration of methods of cognitive and linguocognitive analysis and associative experiment. The research materials are the fairy tales from the book «Folk Tales of Kazakhstani People». Also, in the present research interrelationships of linguistics, cognitive linguistics and culture, different points of view of scientists on the term concept are considered. The description of the concept «Jaqsylyq / goodness» is based on the analysis of the dictionary entries that revealed its conceptual content as a whole. The concept was analyzed in fairytales, which allowed to see the reflection of national reality through language. The formation of the concept in the linguistic consciousness was revealed on the basis of the associative experiment with the concept «jaqsylyq/goodness» and on the results of the analysis of the vocabulary of 10–11 year-old schoolchildren. The results of the research work may be used in the field of cognitive linguistics, cultural linguistics. "
This study presents the nominations of the emotional concept "fear" on the material of the Kazakh and English languages. The means of linguistic representation of the concept are analyzed on the basis of the definitions of the main lexemes in explanatory dictionaries, dictionaries of synonyms and examples from fiction. Comparative analysis of the concept identifies the national-cultural specifics and peculiarities of the perception of the concept. Lexical means of nomination in the Kazakh and English languages reflect physiological processes at the moment of experiencing the emotion, the reasons, intensity and subsequent emotional state of a person. The relevance of this research is determined by the modern general theoretical problems of linguistics, its interest in the problems of the interaction of language, thinking and culture, also by the focus on the study of fragments of the picture of the world through their linguistic representations. Fear is one of the basic emotional concepts that make up the core of the linguistic worldview. Basic emotions are universal, so are emotional concepts. However, emotional concepts are characterized by national and cultural specificity, which is reflected in the semantic differentiation associated with the assessment and comprehension of the people. Research prospects consist in further study of the structure and semantics of the concept "fear" ("қорқыныш/ fear"), in a more in-depth study of complex studies of the concept's verbalization in linguistic consciousness.
In accordance with the anthropolanguage paradigm considered in modern linguistics, the communicative function of language comes to the fore, the tendency to use a linguistic unit is intertwined with the personality of a native speaker, leads to the study of the categories of the image of the author, the linguistic personality, the author's modality in a literary text, distinguishing their features and clarifying the status. The relevance of the research work is determined by the lack of research considering the category of the author's modality in the context of a literary text.The purpose of the research work is to identify the means of transmitting the category of the author's modality in a literary text in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz languages.In the article, the category "author's modality" is considered the basis for the formation of the concept of a literary text. The implicit ways of transferring the category of the author's modality to determine the author's statement and linguistic personality in a work of art are investigated.In a work of art, the author's modality is conveyed through themes, images, concepts, mythologemes, symbols, and anthropomorphism underlying the plots. When considered within the framework of a literary text, modal meanings acquire a subjective-evaluative character. Since the research work was carried out on the analysis of a literary text, the method of complex text analysis was used, i.e., descriptive, analysis, synthesis methods, deductive and inductive methods, semantic-stylistic, contextual method.The author's modality can be determined by the correct interpretation of the information underlying the text (subtext) in a work of art.

The article widely describes the concept of author's modality in the context of linguistic research and provides a brief history of the study of the category of modality in modern linguo-stylistics and text linguistics. Author's modality is considered as a category that plays the role of compiler, organizer of the literary text. The author's modality was also studied as a communicative-pragmatic and subjective assessment category. In such works as Kazakh writer A. Kekilbayev's novel "Aṅızdıṅ aqırı" and Kyrgyz writer Sh. Aitmatov's novel "Kıyamat", famous American writers Theodore Dreiser's novel "Jennie Gerhardt", Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" the different ways of expression the category of author's modality were studied, and similarities and differences were identified.
