Este trabajo de investigación desarrolla el estudio para la recuperación de calcio de las cáscaras de huevo obtenido de los residuos sólidos procedentes de los restaurantes del cantón Riobamba, teniendo como finalidad determinar la metodología más adecuada para la recuperación del Ca, para lo cual, se realizó la caracterización físico química y microbiológica de la materia prima, se separó las cáscaras de huevo y se trituró, calcinó y se solubilizó en ácido acético, luego se filtró y se secó obteniendo carbonato de calcio con un porcentaje de 92,14 %, finalmente se realizó el análisis Espectroscopia Infrarroja determinando la presencia del ion calcio en el producto final.
O presente trabalho tem por objetivo realizar uma abordagem sobre inovações tecnológicas e fazer um estudo comparativo entre as características físicas da fibra do algodão colorido e as fibras do algodão branco. Para isto foi realizada uma avaliação de desempenho no processo de fiação a rotor do algodão colorido, face aos promissores investimentos advindos da demanda por produtos ecologicamente corretos, e a decorrente inovação tecnológica requerida à industrialização deste produto. Este estudo foi realizado numa grande indústria têxtil, instalada em Campina Grande-PB, tomando-se como base o processo de fiação utilizado por esta indústria. Para a fundamentação dos estudos e avaliação dos parâmetros encontrados, utilizouse como referencial analítico às teorias trabalhadas e a realidade encontrada na empresa estudada. Concluiu-se a utilização do algodão colorido como inovação tecnológica utilizada na indústria têxtil, é viável, tendo-se um bom desempenho da matéria-prima e do fio, todavia, para que isso se concretize é necessário que a matéria-prima tenha um baixo percentual de desperdício, um comprimento de fibra médio e uma resistência satisfatória.
