This research includes development research to produce online learning integrates media of Adobe Flash media and the Articulate Story Line and instruments to measure student HOTS in the General Chemistry study. The development model used refers to the ADDIE development model. The result of this research is that the online learning prototype integrated with Adobe Flash and Articulate Story Line and HOTS instruments is valid and effective. Validity is fulfilled qualitatively by the validators. Effectiveness is fulfilled based on the implementation of learning in an integrated media network that students can access online and proven by the increase in students' ability to complete HOTS instruments with the results of t-test analysis of 26.607 and p = 0.000.
This research aims to implement the Virtual Lab media using Problem Based Learning assisted to increasing the students' learning achievements in Cahaya Medan High School and finding out whether there are differences in student learning achievements using virtual lab media and Problem Based Learning models in terms of the STIFIn test and learning style tests This study uses a pretest-posttest group design. Data analysis techniques using One Way Anova analysis. The results showed: (1) there were differences in the increase in students' chemistry learning achievements in terms of the STIFIn test, and (2) there were differences in the increase in students' chemistry learning achievements in terms of learning style tests.
Supporting the implementation of an effective learning process cannot be separated from the use of teaching materials. Improving the quality of the learning process in higher education can be done with various strategies and one alternative that can be taken is the development of teaching materials. This study aims to develop an integrated e-module based on Adobe Flash CS6 media to improve students' chemistry problem solving skills on thermochemical material. The development model used refers to the ADDIE development model. Adobe Flash CS6-based integrated media e-module is designed to be accessible and downloadable by students online. The developed Adobe Flash CS6-based media-integrated e-module has been declared valid and proven to be effective in improving students' chemistry problem solving abilities on thermochemical materials.
This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Medan on the Analysis of the Relationship Between Mathematical Ability and Chemical Analysis of Students' Chemistry Learning Outcomes in Chemical Equilibrium Material. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Medan as many as 7 classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The sample taken in this study was class XI MIPA 2. The instruments used consisted of: (1) mathematical ability test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions; (2) chemical analysis ability test instrument in the form of essay questions; (3) the test instrument for chemistry learning outcomes is in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study are: (1) there is a linear and significant relationship between mathematical ability and chemistry learning outcomes with a value of Sig(1-tailed) 0.000 <0.05; (2) there is a linear and significant relationship between analytical ability on chemistry learning outcomes with a Sig(1-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05; (3) there is a significant relationship between mathematical ability and chemical analysis ability on chemistry learning outcomes with a value of Sig(1-tailed) 0.000<0.05.
21st century education is becoming increasingly important to ensure learners have learning and innovating skills, skills using technology and information media. One of the skills of the 21st century is learning and innovating skills including high-level thinking skills. The object of this study was the development of teaching materials in the general chemical network of HOTS-based media-based stoichiometry materials, designed to be accessible to students online as well as improve students' high-level thinking skills. Through this HOTS-based media integrated online teaching material, students are trained to think critically, creatively, analytically about the information and data available in solving problems, as well as independent teaching materials that students can learn anytime and anywhere. The teaching materials products in the HOTS-based media integrated network developed have been declared valid and proven effective in improving students' high-level thinking skills in stoichiometry materials.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
