PRODUCTIVITY OF DIFFERENT PEANUT GENOTYPES SUBMITTED TO DIFFERENT FORMS OF FERTILIZATION ABSTRACT: Peanut is of great importance to small farmers in the Brazilian Northeast, but has low production in this region. In this sense, techniques that increase the production of this culture are important. The objective of this work was to evaluate the action of different forms of fertilization under the production components of four peanut genotypes. The experiment was conducted at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB), Redenção, Ceará. The design was completely randomized, with a 6 x 4 factorial scheme, with 4 replicates, with 6 fertilization forms: T1 = mineral fertilization with NPK (100% of the recommended dose); T2 = fertilizer with bovine biofertilizer (100%); T3 = fertilization with vegetal ash (100%); T4 = mineral fertilizer (50%) + bovine biofertilizer (50%); T5 = mineral fertilizer (50%) + vegetable ash (50%); T6 = control (without fertilization); and 4 peanut genotypes: C1 = cultivar BR-1; C2 = access 33; C3 = access 69; C4 = access 43. At 82 days after sowing, the sample was harvested and evaluated: number of gypsophors, normal pods, pod length and diameter, pod mass and yield. The genotypes studied differed according to the fertilization methods in which they were submitted. Keywords: Arachis hypogaea L.; mineral nutrition; production.
Peanut crops are of great economic interest because their seeds are used as an important source of vegetable protein and edible oil. The objective of this study was to evaluate the physiological indices and growth of peanut crops subjected to saline and water stress. The experiment was conducted in Auroras, Redenção, Ceará, Brazil using a completely randomized split plot statistical design. The plots were composed of irrigation water treatments with varying levels of electrical conductivity - ECw (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 dS m-1), while the subplots were formed by the water regimes of 50% and 100% crop evapotranspiration. Plant height, leaf number, shoot dry matter, relative chlorophyll level, transpiration, and leaf temperature were affected by salt stress. The water regime of 100% ETc provided better performance for the variables stem diameter, leaf number, and shoot dry mass of peanuts.
Os restos vegetais do feijão-vagem constituem importante fonte de nutrientes, sendo obtidas na maior dose de esterco aplicada (40 t ha Yield and export of nutrients in chicken manure-fertilized snap beanThe analysis of nutrient accumulation and exportation in snap bean is fundamental to help develop a more sustainable fertilization, since defining the organic fertilizer doses needed for snap bean cultivation based only on an estimated maximum production does not guarantee that soil fertility is maintained. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of chicken manure fertilizer on snap bean yield, accumulation, and nutrient exportation. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design, with five chicken manure fertilizer doses (0; 5; 10; 20, and 40 t ha -1 ) and four repetitions. Higher P and Mg contents were verified in the leaves following application of chicken manure fertilizer dose of 40 t ha . The highest diameter, number of pods per plant, and pod yield were verified at the highest chicken manure fertilizer dose

USE OF DEAD COVERAGE AND SALINE WATER IN THE PRODUCTIVITY OF CORN CROP 2 ABSTRACT This work aimed to evaluate the productivity of the corn crop irrigated with water of greater and lesser salinity in soils with and without mulch. The research was carried out in the field, at the experimental farm at UNILAB, Redenção-CE. The experimental design was a randomized block, in a 6 × 2 factorial scheme, referring to six strategies for using vegetable mulch: EC1= no mulch throughout the cycle - control; EC2= with mulch throughout the cycle; EC3= with mulch up to 45 days after sowing (DAS) and without mulch until the end of the cycle; EC4= no mulch up to 45 DAS and with mulch until the end of the cycle; EC5= with mulch up to 60 DAS and without mulch until the end of the cycle and EC6= without mulch up to 60 and with mulch until the end of the cycle and two electrical conductivity of the irrigation water (A1=0.8 dS m-1 and A2=3.0 dS m-1) in five repetitions. The following variables were analyzed: ear mass with and without straw, 1000 grains and yield. The use of the EC3 strategy allowed an increase in ear mass with and without straw and 1000 grains. The salinity of the irrigation water was attenuated by the EC3 strategy for ear mass with and without straw. Strategies EC3 and EC5 showed higher yields with low salinity water and high salinity water when the EC3 strategy was used. Keywords: salinity, soil protection, Zea mays L.
