LMOST NO research is available pertain-A ing to the movement of Protestant ministers into counselor-education programs in state universities. This transition from the pulpit to the counselor's office by a seemingly large number of ministers is surprising when one considers the sanctity or "high calling" which has traditionally been associated with entrance into the ministry. Even more significant, however, would appear to be the many interdisciplinary differences, both theoretical and practical, usually apparent when these two somewhat different disciplines are discussed in conjunction with one another.
