RESUMOO presente artigo apresenta uma análise de conceitos e utilidades que perpassam a computação ubíqua e a Internet das Coisas (IoT) com o objetivo de demonstrar as consequências da ubiquidade no cotidiano das pessoas. Nesta pesquisa é possível verificar que os autores fazem relatos detalhados de produtos ou serviços de IoT. Para isso, consultaram artigos e reportagens sobre criações que estavam em prática de 2014 a 2017. O ponto central deste artigo é mostrar exemplos reais de aplicações de IoT e os efeitos da computação ubíqua na sociedade, como: surgimento de um novo tipo de usuário, denominado ubíquo; interatividade entre médicos e pacientes; dispositivos vestíveis; entre outros. Destaca-se que uma nova base de relações e aquisição de informações é estabelecida com a conectividade de objetos à Internet, tais como geladeiras, televisores, carros, pulseiras, óculos e relógios. Com a implantação da TV Digital no Brasil, surge a necessidade de se fomentar a concepção e produção de conteúdos audiovisuais interativos de qualidade que apresentem mensagens educativas a partir do Edutretenimento. Este estudo propõe a aplicação da gamificação como elo comunicacional para incentivar e modificar o comportamento dos usuários, através de uma narrativa que incentive a motivação intrínseca para o entretenimento e o aprendizado nesses meios. Existem poucos modelos de roteiros para a produção de aplicativos, sobretudo educacionais, com aplicações interativas simultâneas para o fluxo televisivo ou para o conteúdo complementar da programação ofertada. Por essa razão, é atribuída uma atenção especial ao roteiro, em virtude de se inserir, em sua construção, os elementos que compõem a mecânica e a dinâmica dos jogos. Como resultado, é apresentado o verbete “Gamificação-TVDI”, bem como o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia de modelagem de conteúdo e de processo, apoiada em mapas conceituais, wireframes e roadmaps, fundamentando a concepção e a elaboração de um protótipo de roteiro com elementos de gamificação para programas educativos e seus aplicativos de interação.
A partir do diagnóstico de que a ciência encontra-se cindida da cultura em geral, apartada e tornada estranha ao cotidiano, discutimos neste artigo a representação de personagens e ações pertencentes ao universo científico, assim como de sua atividade, em três perfis publicados na revista piauí: "Entre ratos", de Raquel Freire Zangrandi, "Artur tem um problema", de João Moreira Salles, e "Com a mão na massa (cerebral)", de Dorrit Harazim. Como contraste à análise, ponderamos sobre os perfis apresentados no livro Gigantes da ciência, de Philipe Cane, e na série Os cientistas, da Editora Abril. Pudemos concluir que o conjunto de textos de piauí, articulado sob as técnicas de jornalismo literário, aproxima o leitor dos perfilados e o processo de produção da ciência, embora ainda pouco apresente da vida privada dos personagens.
