ResumenObjeto: Analizar la valoración de las habilidades directivas en el sector público de Córdoba (España), intentando descubrir la posible relación o influencia entre la administración de pertenencia con un conjunto de habilidades directivas.Diseño/metodología/enfoque: Estudio teórico inicial sobre el sector público, los directivos públicos y las habilidades directivas, la realización de un trabajo de campo que afecta a las cuatro administraciones y la aplicación de técnicas estadísticas de contraste, que posibiliten, finalmente, el análisis de sus resultados y las conclusiones que se obtienen de los mismos.
Aportaciones y resultados:Se presentan las conclusiones de una investigación sobre las habilidades directivas en el contexto del sector público en la Provincia de Córdoba (España). En la actualidad las habilidades personales, interpersonales y directivas para la gestión, están adquiriendo cada vez mayor importancia en las empresas y organizaciones. La apuesta decidida por el desarrollo de habilidades directivas se convierte en una verdadera ventaja competitiva capaz de liderar los procesos de mejora empresarial en las organizaciones, especialmente en aquellas en las que el recurso humano es más determinante, como es el caso del sector público.Limitaciones: Para el avance en la investigación sobre las habilidades directivas en el sector público, sería deseable el desarrollo de investigaciones más sectoriales que -528-

El artículo presenta las conclusiones de una investigación sobre la capacidad de aprender como habilidad directiva en el contexto de la administración local en la Provincia de Córdoba (España), en la que se posiciona como la habilidad mejor valorada tanto por el personal directivo como subordinado —y su gran y a la vez decisiva influencia— sobre las variables organizacionales.
