O artigo identifica os principais tipos de uso da água presentes na bacia hidrográfica do Rio Caeté, categorizando-os por tipologia, e apresentando o caso de usos competitivos. Usos competitivos ocorrem situações em que uma forma de uso compromete outra sem que haja disputa explícita entre os atores envolvidos. Nessas situações, há um conflito potencial, mas não de fato. Trata-se, portanto, de uma contribuição para a gestão dos recursos hídricos e das bacias hidrográficas na Amazônia brasileira, a partir do caso desta bacia situada no nordeste do estado do Pará, à luz da perspectiva da análise dos conflitos socioambientais, nesse caso, latentes. Como procedimentos metodológicos para a identificação dos usos, foram realizados trabalhos de campo nos de 2015, 2016 e 2017, acompanhados de posterior elaboração e síntese cartográfica no Laboratório de Análise Ambiental e Representação Cartográfica (LARC/NUMA/UFPA), além de pesquisa documental (sobre dados secundários disponibilizados por instituições de gestão (SEMAS/PA, CPRM e IBGE).
ResumoO presente trabalho desenvolvido pelo Grupo de Pesquisa Geografia das Águas da Amazônia (GGAM), é resultado de um projeto de ação educativa socioambiental desenvolvido na E.M.E.F. "Palmira Lins de Carvalho", sito no bairro da Marambaia em Belém do Pará, executado juntos aos alunos do 2. Ano do Ciclo IV, equivalente ao 9 ano do ensino fundamental cuja provocação partiu da ciência geográfica e ao mesmo tempo assumiu uma constru(ação) interdisciplinar e multidisciplinar, implicando professores das diversas disciplinas de uma mesma unidade de ensino, de modo que houve o envolvimento da comunidade escolar, seja na representação dos pais dos discentes por meio de auxílio aos alunos e/ou estes como co-participantes da culminância junto à Escola. O resultado desta ação revelou-se estimuladora para outras iniciativas semelhantes envolvendo a problemática dos recursos hídricos na Região Metropolitana de Belém, especialmente a positiva parceria entre Academia e a Escola, em questões centrais sobre o tema água na Amazônia -o acesso, a gestão e o abastecimento da água.
AbstractThe present work developed by the research group geography of Waters of the Amazon (GGAM), is the result of a social and educational action project developed in "Palmira Lins de Carvalho" School , located in Marambaia zone in Belém/Pará State, executed together 2 students. Year IV cycle, equivalent to 9 year of elementary school whose provocation started from geographical science and at the same time took a construction and action interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary, involving teachers from various disciplines of the same educational unit, so that the involvement of the school community, is in the representation of parents of students by means of assistance to students and/or these as co-participants in the culmination at the School. The result of this action has proved stimulating for other similar initiatives involving the issue of water resources in the metropolitan region of Belém, especially the positive partnership between the Academy and the School, in central questions on the subject on Amazon-water access, management and water supply.
