Situaciones, posesió n y agentividad en documentos notariales leoneses del siglo XIII. El caso de aver y tener.* En este trabajo, nos proponemos el estudio de algunos verbos que expresan posesió n en documentos notariales leoneses del siglo XIII 1 y, en especial, la distinció n de los verbos aver y tener, que está marcada Ð en nuestro opinió n Ð por el rasgo de agentividad, rasgo que influirá en la evolució n posterior de estos verbos. Por este hecho, vamos a distinguir entre una posesió n diná mica de una posesió n está tica, fundamentada en la voluntad del sujeto por mantener la posesió n y el dinamismo de la situació n (aunque, como vamos a ver, calificar de diná micas a las situaciones podría parecer una paradoja, que se resuelve si aceptamos una clasificació n de los estados de cosas, eventos o sucesos diná mica e inestable, resultado de diversos factores, que afectan tanto al verbo de la oració n y nú cleo del suceso, siendo la aspectualidad el factor principal, como a los participantes de tal suceso, factores como el control, la agentividad, la afecció n ...). Lapesa ha escrito que la distinció n entre persona y cosa en españ ol responde a la "forma interior" de nuestra lengua (1964: 82 y 1968). Podemos decir que tal distinció n hace referencia má s a la agentividad potencial de un participante que a su animicidad, indudablemente unidas, por otra parte, y que es tal agentividad potencial la que resulta decisiva en el desarrollo del par aver/tener y, en concreto, en la descripció n y caracterizació n de estos verbos en el españ ol del siglo XIII o, por menos decir, en la lengua que aparece en los documentos notariales de la catedral de Leó n. * Agradezco atentamente al profesor Dr. Rolf Eberenz sus generosas y precisas observaciones al manuscrito de este trabajo que han ayudado a aclarar pasajes oscuros y a mejorar, en general, la lectura.
