RESUMO Este trabalho tem como objetivo refletir sobre as práticas pedagógicas que utilizam o blackface de maneira equivocada na busca pela valorização da história e cultura afro-brasileira e africana. Para alcançar tal objetivo, utilizamos como aporte teórico Munanga (2008), Hall (2016), Souza (2011) e Silva (2014). A metodologia utilizada foi a análise qualitativa de entrevistas estruturadas e semiestruturadas com os professores da Educação Infantil e dos Anos Iniciais do Fundamental. Por fim, compreendeu-se que muitos professores não sabem do que trata o blackface, mesmo quando o praticam, o que é resultado de uma formação com currículo eurocêntrico que reproduz um discurso racista sem as devidas informações sobre as questões étnico-raciais. Sendo assim, práticas racistas com o intuito de promover igualdade racial nas escolas continuam a ser engendradas, “consumidas” por alunos e também reproduzidas por eles em um contínuo ciclo de repetição, cuja interrupção só será possibilitada com a efetivação de práticas antirracistas que estão em acordo com a Lei 10.639/2003 e suas Diretrizes Nacionais Curriculares (2004).
Rocha e por este que vos escreve.As resenhas aqui produzidas nesta publicação que ganha vida no dia 20 de novembro, dia em que celebramos a Consciência Negra e o eterno Zumbi dos Palmares, constituindo-se um grande arcabouço de discussão em torno da temática étnico-racial, que vêm a somar para a construção de uma Consciência Negra e para a exaltação da cultura afrocentrada. Externando as riquezas produzidas em torno da história e cultura das populações negras, com suas devidas indagações acerca do racismo e do antirracismo nas sociedades.Este Dossiê conta com 9 (nove) produções que foram desenvolvidos pelas/os alunas/os residentes da área de História. Com um grande destaque para a cena cinematográfica, onde estas desenvolvem seu olhar sobre a temática étnico-racial na filmografia contemporânea. A resenha que abre este dossiê é de autoria de Adrian Araújo Coelho, Elissandra Cruz Vieira e Marcos Vinícius Souza de Carvalho, trazendo um diálogo acerca do filme Django Livre, onde é observada as nuances que este filme trata a escravização, discutindo a objetificação, bem como o estado de barbárie que a película apresenta. Logo em seguida temos a resenha intitulada Resistência Página 2 EM FAVOR DE IGUALDADE RACIAL, Rio Branco -Acre, v. 5, n.3, p.., set-dez. 2022. e Revolução em Judas e o Messias Negro, desenvolvida por Andressa Queiroz da Silva e Kaliny Custódio do Carmo, que enveredam na discussão proporcionada pelo filme referente à luta pelos direitos civis da população negra estadunidense, abordando as violações de direitos, bem como as tentativas de enfraquecimento e deslegitimação dos movimentos sociais. Dando sequência temos a resenha de Beatriz Oliveira da Costa, Karolaine da Silva Oliveira e Thais Albuquerque Figueiredo, dialogando sobre o filme "O menino que descobriu o vento", discutindo através dessa obra cinematográfica a Educação como mecanismo de superação. Cassia Iasmin de Oliveira Marinho e Paula Vitória Brito da Silva, desenvolvem sua resenha intitulada "Sob a luz do luar as vivências negras são azuis", utilizando o filme "Moonlight: sob a luz do olhar" como base para suas discussões acerca das questões relacionadas à raça, gênero e sexualidade. Na esteira, vem Cyndy Nathana Melo de Souza e Wesley Ramos de Moura, com sua resenhaBesouro, dialogando com este filme da década de 1920, questionando a exploração da população negra mesmo após o fim do processo de escravização, mas também enfatizando os processos de resistências por meio da capoeira. Em seguida temos a resenha de Elissandra Vieira da Silva, que optou por fazer uma "Resenha Crítica do filme Kbela".Logo, temos "O drama, a trama e a chama: Ali, o filme", resenha desenvolvida por José Luiz Magalhães Freire e Marcelo Freire Rocha, onde observam o clima de tensão presente no contexto histórico da década de 1960 nos EUA em relação às manifestações de racismo e atritos raciais. Já Paulo Alves de Azevedo e Andrisson Ferreira da Silva, discutem a presença incômoda de um médico africano na cidade de Marly Gomont, em sua resenha intitulada "Bem-vindo a Ma...
Este trabalho é uma reflexão sobre as possibilidades de ensino de história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) de História para os Anos Finais. Por isso este texto se propõe a analisar dentre as unidades temáticas, objetos do conhecimento e habilidades da BNCC de História para o 6º ano possibilidades de incluir o ensino de história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira, exigido pela lei 10.639/2003, que alterou o artigo 26-A da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional. Compreende-se que a BNCC é um currículo a serviço de um projeto político neoliberal aplicado à educação, que pouco ou nada se preocupa com pautas de minorias políticas, como a questão das relações étnico-raciais, mas considera-se também o que afirma Gomes (2007) a respeito do currículo, que, quando em ação, o currículo pode tornar-se uma forte arma de resistência no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, muito mais determinado pela posição política e formação do docente que os implanta e os implementa do que mesmo pelas próprias legislações curriculares. Sendo assim, pode-se perceber que ainda há muito a ser conquistado dentro do currículo, ainda predominantemente europeizado de História para a inserção da história e da cultura africana e afro-brasileira, porém não se pode negar as conquistas do movimento negro nacional dentro da BNCC, através de toda sua luta para que suas histórias seja contadas e devidamente valorizadas.
