Indonesia memiliki kasus terbanyak ke-2 didunia. Sebanyak 32% kasus TBC tercatat sebagai un-reach atau detected but un-notified. Berdasarkan kegiatan pemberdayaan investigasi kontak masih ada sekitar 54% terduga TBC yang tidak melakukan pemeriksaan TBC di fasilitas layanan kesehatan (fasyankes) setelah dirujuk. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku pemeriksaan ke fasyankes adalah karakteristik individu terduga TBC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dominan karakteristik individu yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemeriksaan ke fasyankes pada terduga TBC. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 426 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini bersifat probability sampling. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner online dengan google form Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis chi-square dan multiple logistik berganda dengan nilai siginifikansi 95 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 56,6 % terduga TBC yang belum melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan di fasilitas kesehatan (fasyankes). Sebagian besar terduga yang tidak melakukan pemeriksaan yaitu memiliki latar belakang pendidikan SMP (30,3 %) dan tidak bekerja (47,7%). Faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemeriksaan TBC ke fasyankes adalah pendidikan (OR: 1,981; 95 % CI: 1,181-3,325; p 0,010), pekerjaan (OR: 1,738; 95 % CI: 1,1140-2,681; p 0,010), dan suku (OR: 0,382; 95 % CI: 0,159-0,916; p 0,031). Faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemeriksaan pada terduga TBC adalah pendidikan, pekerjaan dan suku. Oleh karena itu, dalam program penemuan kasus perlu difokuskan pada masyarakat yang berlatar belakang pendidikan rendah, masyarakat yang tidak bekerja dan masyarakat yang berasal dari suku jawa.
