This paper aims to explore the potential of da'wah in the city of Semarang with a data mining approach. The data mining approach is carried out by implementing the fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm in order to obtain the optimum number of clusters in the potential clustering of da'wah in the city of Semarang. The data used in this study from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Semarang City. The results of the FCM analysis show that the optimum number of clusters is two clusters, where the sub-district in the second cluster is an area with a high potential for da'wah. This study provides information that in effective da'wah activities, certainty and clarity is needed regarding the targets of da'wah through mapping of da'wah in the form of clustering potential da'wah. This can be a consideration of dakwah strategies for the successful implementation of da'wah studies so that an increase in the target behavior of da'wah can be achieved. The application of FCM to get the optimum cluster of potential da'wah in order to produce da'wah mapping is novelty in the field of Islamic studies, especially the science of da'wah.
The objective of this study was to examine the fuzzy c-means clustering (FCM) method to establish the optimum cluster accuracy of zakat potential in Indonesia. A spatial mapping approach is also suggested and can be considered as the first step in knowing the distribution of zakat potential in Indonesia. Furthermore, strategies that can be implemented are formulated to increase zakat collection in Indonesia. Potential zakat data from the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) in 2020 consisting of bank deposits, salaries, agricultural products, plantation products, and staple foods. Each province in Indonesia is used as the proposed variable. In this paper, firstly collecting data on indicators of potential zakat. Second, the FCM clustering algorithm. Third, the results of the FCM grouping are visualized in the form of a mapping. This novel mapping study with FCM was applied in order to analyze clustering accuracy. The FCM results confirm 2 optimum clusters for zakat potential in Indonesia where cluster 2 has more members than cluster 1. Besides, the second cluster only has one variable that has a high value, namely agricultural products, while the rest is in the first cluster. This indicates that the first cluster has a higher potential for zakat. The application of fuzzy c-means (FCM) to obtain the optimum cluster on zakat potential to produce a mapping of zakat potential is a novelty in the field of Islamic economic studies. Finally, the results of the analysis with this approach provide optimum results to strengthen the zakat collection strategy in Indonesia.

ABSTRACT

A crisis communication strategy is needed for the company in the face of its crisis whether it persists or fails. The crisis came suddenly, unpredictably before. For airlines, the most dire crisis is the occurrence of aircraft accidents. If the management of crisis communication is not good it can be fatal, namely what kind of rollout experienced by Adam Air Airlines. The purpose of this paper is to compare some crisis communication conducted by Indonesian airlines that have experienced plane accidents, namely Adam Air, Air Asia and Sriwijaya Air. In addition to knowing the crisis communication strategy will also be discussed crisis management and the role of public relations in managing the crisis and restoring the reputation of the company. The results of the research obtained are communication strategies conducted by Air Asia and Sriwijaya Air can handle the crisis well. Air Asia managed to restore the company's good image while Sriwijaya Air is still in the crisis recovery stage because the crisis that is experienced by Sriwijaya Air is more complex and still in the pandemic period. Some steps are done is to create a media center to facilitate communication and information one door for the victim's family and the media. The delivery of crisis communication conducted by Sriwijaya Air and Air Asia in accordance with the perspective of Islamic communication.

Keywords: Crisis Communication, Crisis Management, Imagery, Plane Crash

Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Krisis, Manajemen Krisis, Citra, Kecelakaan Pesawat

This article aims to study the urgency of applying journalistic ethics in online Islamic media activities. The study focuses on analyzing the seven standards of Islamic Media Literacy from Indonesian Ministry of Religion, namely (1) principles of online news production, (2) news distribution ethics, (3) accuracy and anti hoax, (4) the spirit of amar ma'ruf nahyi munkar, (5) principle of wisdom in da'wah, (6) principles in digital interaction, and 7) principle of press freedom. By using the qualitative method of library research, we argue that these seven principles could be said as journalistic ethics that must be applied in Islamic media reporting activities. These values are extremely important for Islamic media activities because the credibility of journalists and media institutions is related to public assessment which is quite determining the continuity of media life. The news in online Islamic media has different characteristics from other media. Online Islamic media cannot avoid how a text or symbol is presented in the category of fundamentalism-radicalism or moderate Islamic ideology. Problems arise when the radical Islamic ideology is more dominant than moderate Islamic ideology so that it is not uncommon for the Islamic media to get caught up in provocative actions which in some limits create disharmony for people's lives. If that is the case, the application of peaceful journalistic values becomes important to display Islamic da'wah of rahmatan li alamin.
The use of internet media in the era of technological and communication advancement is a concern not only in the campus academic community, but in Pesantren, religious-based institutions are also significant. Increasingly sophisticated technology supports change and should make it easier for santri to access information, especially in the field of education. Media literacy at Fadhul Fadhlan Pesantren is an interesting study, considering the increasing condition of internet consumption among santri needs to be balanced with smart media skills, so that santri can think more critically in dealing with the flood of information in the media, especially online media. This study focuses on Fadhlul Fadhlan Pesantren strategies to develop media literacy for santri. The results of this study also found that strategies to develop media literacy in Pesantren include optimizing social media, forming media center and training programs to improve literacy skills.
