Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan fermentasi tepung kulit kopi gayo dengan penambahan probiotik terhadap peningkatan persentase bobot karkas ayam lokal pedaging. Penelitian dilakukan di Takengon, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah pada bulan Juni-September 2019. Penelitian menggunakan 64 ekor ayam lokal pedaging dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu pemberian pakan fermentasi 0% (A), 5% (B), 10%(C), dan 15% (D). Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan berat badan, persentase bobot karkas, lemak abdomen, dan konversi pakan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Anava, dan dilakukan uji Duncan apabila data yang diperoleh berbeda nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung kulit kopi fermentasi dan probiotik dapat meningkatkan berat badan ayam lokal pedaging dan bobot karkas ayam, akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap lemak abdomen dan konversi pakan. Pemberian pakan fermentasi tepung kulit kopi 5% dapat meningkatkan pertambahan berat badan hingga 81,57 gr/minggu dan bobot karkas ayam hingga 73,29%.
This research which aims to determine the effect of probiotic and Acidifier supplementations in the fermentation diet on growth of broiler has done in Takengon, Central Aceh District from August until October 2020. This research used 160 chicks strain Cobb 89 produced by PT. Charoen Pokphand. This study used a complete randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment of probiotic and Acidifier supplementations were: 0% (A), 0.1% (B), 0.2%(C), 0.3%(D). Parameters observed were achievement of final weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, and feed efficiency. Data was analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test if significant effect was detected. The result showed that the differences in supplementation of probiotic and Acidifiers effected significantly (P <0.05) on the final weight, weight gain, feed conversion and feed efficiency. However, there was no significant effect on rate of consumption. The result of present study showed that the combination of probiotic and Acidifier had a best impact on broiler growth and it was also decreased mortality of chicken.
Addition of Palm Enzymes in with Different Variations in Chicken Performance of Undergraduate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving palm oil enzymes to the weight gain of broiler chickens. the consumption of broiler chicken feed. To determine the administration of palm enzymes influence the increase in broiler chicken feed conversion. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the provision of Palm Enzymes and without the provision of Palm Enzymes. By giving chicken ration given to Broiler Chicken P0: Without the addition of 0% palm enzyme (control), P1: addition of 25 ml palm enzyme + 75 commercial feed, P2: addition of 50 ml palm enzyme + 50 commercial feed P3: addition of palm enzyme 75 ml + 25 commercial feed. On the parameters of observation of body weight, feed consumption and broiler chicken feed conversion obtained during the study were best found in treatment P1: addition of 25 ml palm enzyme + 75 commercial feed. In the sidik analysis, the various effects of body weight, feed consumption and feed conversion between treatments different significantly.
ABSTRAK. Gajah sumatera merupakan satwa dilindungi yang populasinya semangkin menurun dan termasuk kedalam kategori keritis (Critically and dangered/ CR). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui preferensi dan jenis pakan gajah sumatera (Elephas maximus sumatranus) yang terdapat di Pusat Latihan Gajah Holiday Resort Kecamatan Torgamba, Kabupatan Labuhan Batu Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Focal Animal Sampling secara intensif dan mencatat seluruh aktifitas yang berkaitan dengan proses prilaku makan individu tersebut dimulai dari pukul 09.00-16.00 WIB. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan April 2022. Analisis yang digunakan terkait preferensi jenis pakan pada gajah sumatera. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis tumbuhan yang terdapat di pusat latihan gajah holiday resort dari tiga lokasi yang berbeda di peroleh 17 jenis pakan alami dari 8 famili. Terdapat 3 ekor gajah yaitu: 1 Jantan dan 2 Betina. Preferensi pada betina jenis pakan Imperata cylindrical sebanyak 1050 kali dimakan atau 19,69%, jantan pakan Lophatherum gracile sebanyak 1020 kali konsumsi atau 17%. ABSTRACT. The Sumatran elephant is a protected animal whose population is decreasing and is included in the critically and dangered (CR) category. This study aims to determine the preferences and types of feed for Sumatran elephants (Elephas maximus sumatranus) at the Elephant Holiday Resort Training Center, Torgamba District, Labuhan Batu Regency, North Sumatra. This research method uses Focal Animal Sampling intensively and records all activities related to the individual's eating behavior process starting from 09.00-16.00 WIB. Data collection was carried out from March to April 2022. The analysis used was related to the type of feed preference for Sumatran elephants. The results showed that the types of plants found in the elephant holiday resort training center from three different locations obtained 17 types of natural food from 8 families. There are 3 elephants, namely: 1 male and 2 female. The preference for Imperata cylindrical feed was 1050 times or 19.69%, male Lophatherum gracile consumed 1020 times or 17%.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding probiotic acidifier on the condition of the digestive tract, glucose levels and abdominal fat in broiler chickens. This research conducted in Takengon, Central Aceh District. The parameters observed were the condition of the digestive tract, blood glucose levels and the percentage of abdominal fat. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed the use of a 1: 1 mixture of probiotics and acidifier to level 0. The 3% added to the commercial ration which was substituted with 10% fermented feed ingredients (R-KFPA) had no significant effect (P <0.05) on weight and percentage of Gizzard, Gizzard pH and Intestine pH, Intestinal Length, Weight and Percent of Abdominal Fat, as well as blood glucose levels in broiler chickens. Although statistically not significantly different, giving a mixture of probiotics and acidifier at the level of 0.3% (R4) showed a positive effect on decreasing the percentage of abdominal fat from 1.52% (R1) to 1.35% (R4). The blood glucose obtained in this study was slightly higher than normal blood glucose levels in chickens as reported by Swenson weight and percentage of abdominal fat, as well as blood glucose levels of broiler chickens. Although statistically not significantly different, giving a mixture of probiotics and acidifier at the level of 0.3% (R4) showed a positive effect on decreasing the percentage of abdominal fat from 1.52% (R1) to 1.35% (R4). The blood glucose obtained in this study was slightly higher than normal blood glucose levels in chickens as reported by Swenson weight and percentage of abdominal fat, as well as blood glucose levels of broiler chickens. Although statistically not significantly different, giving a mixture of probiotics and acidifier at the level of 0.3% (R4) showed a positive effect on decreasing the percentage of abdominal fat from 1.52% (R1) to 1.35% (R4). The blood glucose obtained in this study was slightly higher than normal blood glucose levels in chickens as reported by Swenson (1993), which ranges from 13 to 27 ml / dl or 130 to 270 mg / dl. It is suspected that this is due to increased digestive activity in chickens so that more nutrients are absorbed.
Ruzi grass (Bachiaria ruziziensis) is a superior grass that is good for use as animal feed, this grass has not been widely cultivated in Central Aceh Regency. The method used in this study was a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 4 treatments, namely 0 tons-1,10 tons-1,15 tons-1,20 tons-1 and 3 replications. The results showed that the application of guano fertilizer at a dose of 20 tons/ha had a significant effect on the production, height, wet weight, and number of shoots of Ruzi Grass and the application of guano fertilizer at a dose of 0 tons/ha had no significant effect on the height, wet weight, and number of shoots of Ruzi Grass. .
Kecamatan Linge merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah yang memiliki luas 2.075.28 km2 atau menguasai sekitar 48.06 % dari luas total Kabupaten Aceh Tengah merupakan sentral peternak terutama kerbau gayo.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui karakteristik serta perumusan strategi pengembangan Ternak Kerbau Gayo di Kecamatan Linge Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Metode penelitian mengunakan metode survey kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threath). Responden sebamyak 54 Peternak Kerbau Gayo ditentukan secara purposive.Hasil penelitian Berdasarkan hasil grand strategi maka diperoleh strategi Agresif yaitu Memanfaatkan lahan kosong untuk dijadikan sumber pakan dan pakan olahan serta meningkatkan populasi dan produksi ternak melalui perbaikan manajemen pemeliharaan, pakan, dan kesehatan dengan menerapkan sistem IB
