BARTIN ÜNİVERSİTESİ EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİÖzet: Dünyamızda 1900'lü yıllardan bu yana konuşma becerilerinin nasıl geliştirildiği, konuşurken kelimelerin nasıl seçildiği, zihinsel sözlükteki binlerce kelime içinden en uygununun nasıl bulunduğu üzerinde yoğun araştırmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu araştırmalar sonucu çeşitli yaklaşım ve modeller uygulanmaktadır. Bunlar geleneksel, bilişsel ve yapılandırıcı olmak üzere üç grupta toplanmaktadır. Geleneksel yaklaşım ve yöntemler konuşmanın daha çok fiziksel süreçlerine yani vurgu, tonlama, telaffuz, ses gibi ögelere ağırlık vermektedir. Bilişsel yaklaşım ve modeller konuşma sürecini hem zihinsel hem de fiziksel olmak üzere daha geniş boyutta ele almakta ve konuşmacının zihinsel süreçlerine yoğunlaşmaktadır. Konuşma sırasında zihindeki bilgi ve kelimelerin nasıl seçildiği, sözlere nasıl aktarıldığı en çok incelenen konular arasında yer almaktadır. Bu anlayıştan hareketle bilişsel yaklaşımda çok sayıda konuşma öğretim modeli geliştirilmiştir. Yapılandırıcı yaklaşım ve modeller ise öğrencinin konuşma becerilerini geliştirmeye odaklanmakta, bunun için konuşma süreçleri, geliştirilecek beceriler, uygulanacak yöntem ve teknikler belirlenmeye çalışılmaktadır. Günümüzde yapılandırıcı yaklaşımdan hareketle çeşitli konuşma öğretim modelleri kullanılmakta, bu modellerde öngörülen aşamalar, yöntem ve tekniklerle öğrencilerin konuşma becerileri geliştirilmeye çalışılmaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Konuşma, konuşma modeli, Türkçe öğretimi
Speech Teaching Approaches and ModelsAbstract: In our worlds, since 1900s, intensive research has been conducted in the areas of how to develop speaking skills, how to choose words when talking, and how to find the most suitable words in thousands of words in the mental lexicon. In these researches, a variety of approaches and models are implemented. These are gathered under the three groups that are named as traditional, cognitive and constructivist. Traditional approaches and methods give more weight to the physical processes of speech such as stress, intonation, pronunciation, and voice. Cognitive approaches and models examine the speech process in a wider scale as physical and mental, and focus on the speaker's mental processes. During the speech process, the most studied topics were how words and information are selected, and how to words are transferred to speech. From this perspective, many speech-related teaching models have been developed in the cognitive approach. Constructivist approaches and models focus on developing students' speaking skills, and try to identify the speech processes, skills, techniques, and methods that need to be developed.
