Energy needs and consumption are increasing in line with the increasing human population and increasing community economy. The energy needs and consumption are focused on the use of fuel oil. To minimize the worst possibility of the impact of the use of fossil fuels, one of them is through the development of renewable energy sources. Alternative energy can be generated from appropriate technology by utilizing biomass waste such as tabingga and corncobs which are by products and discharges that have not been much studied for their benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of tabingga briquettes and corncob briquettes as alternative fuels. This research is an experimental research. The research was carried out from May to August 2019. The objects in this study were the biocoal tabingga and the corncobs biocoal with adhesive variations of 10 grams, 20 grams and 30 grams. The briquette is then printed with a diameter of 5 cm and a height of 7 cm. The results of this study indicate that tabingga briquettes can produce heat temperatures until 89 °C. While corncob briquettes can produce heat temperature until 83 °C.
ABSTRAKBerdasarkan hasil data Petugas Lapangan Keluarga Berencana Kecamatan Palu Selatan pada tahun 2014 pengguna kontrasepsi sebanyak 10,138 wanita usia subur (WUS) diantaranya berumur ≥ 35 tahun menggunakan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW) sebanyak 439 wanita usia subur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW) di Kecamatan Palu Selatan. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey analitik pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasangan usia subur yang berumur ≥ 35 tahun berjumlah 99 responden. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW) dengan nilai p = 0,981 (p = 0,05), tidak ada hubungan antara pendidikan dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW) dengan nilai p = 0,604 (p = 0,05), ada hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW) dengan nilai p = 0,009 (p = 0,05). Penelitian ini menyarankan Agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui dan memahami kegunaan dalam penggunaan kontrasepsi metode operasi wanita (MOW). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kader dalam pelaksanaan Pos Pembinaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular (Posbindu PTM). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Jumlah informan 9 orang terdiri dari 3 orang kader, 1 orang ketua RW 3 Ranontai, 1 orang pemegang program Posbindu PTM, 4 orang pengguna Posbindu PTM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Posbindu PTM dilaksanakan sesuaidengan kemampuan dan kondisi yang ada. Pelaksanaan Posbindu PTM di RW 3 Ranontaikelurahan Pantoloan Boya belum berjalan secara optimal, hal ini akibatadabeberapa peran kader belum sesuai dengan standar oprasional, dimana kader dalam melakukan pemantauan faktor resiko PTM, konseling dan pencatatatan belum sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis Posbindu PTM, serta kurangnya koordinasi dari ketua RW 3 Ranontai setempat dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Posbindu PTM. Penelitian ini menyarankan, Puskesmas Pantoloan untuk memberikan kemudahan akses terhadap kader dalam membantu masyarakat dan memberikan pelatihan kepada kader sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis Posbindu PTM.
Necessity and energy consumption were increased sharply followed by population growth and community economy. Necessity and energy consumption were more focused on the use of fuel oil, especially in Indonesia, fuel oil reserve become diminish. In order to decrease adverse effects of fossil fuel use, development of renewableenergy sources is needed, considering, that Indonesia has abundant biomass energy that has not been used optimally. This research was conducted from june to august 2018. The object of this research is biomass formulation of bioarang mixtures of rice husk and zalacca seeds by mass comparison 0,25:1, 0,5:0,75, 0,5:0,5, 0,75:0,5 and 1:0,25 with the total mass of 200 gram, formed on the mold with a diameter of 5 centimeters, and a height of 7 centimeters.Based on the research, the result found that the mixed formulation of rice husk and zalacca seeds with ratio of 0,25:1 has the longest time duration which 38 minutes and 15 seconds, the largest water content approximately 5,761% and the highest carbon content was 60,326%. Furthermore, the mixed formulation of rice husk and zalacca seeds with ratio 1:0,25 has the highest heating value as much as 260,309 KJ/gr, the highest ash content was 13,829%, and the highest volatile matter substances was about 33,671%.
