Different concentrations of cashew (Anacardium occidentale Linn) leaves, nutshells, and peduncle bagasse ashes extract evaluated for growth inhibition of Capnodium sp and the antifungal activity. Results revealed that different concentration of cashew leaves, nutshells, and peduncle bagasse ashes extracts showed values difference of absorbance (DA) ranging from 0.00 to 0.42. All the concentrations of extracts showed significant inhibition in the spore germination of sooty mould. The highest levels caused maximum inhibition in the spore germination followed by lower concentrations of cashew nut shells, peduncle bagasse and leaf extracts respectively. Cashew nut shells extract had a high level of total polyphenolic, flavonoid content, pH and low values of titratable acidity, which could be attributed to its potent antifungal activity.
The research was based on the application of the curriculum condition and learning in the school of early childhood education. Psychic development, appropriate early childhood does not yet have enough readiness to receive learn to read. Students are not yet mature enough to accept the burden of the material symbols of that language. However, from previous research conducted, it found that 98% of the school taught reading for their students. It is done by a variety of reasons — for example, the demands of the parents/guardians of students, school level demands of the next, commercial purposes, and so on. On the other hand, the students were during the golden age to absorb a variety of information that can be relied upon for readiness and maturity of learning was going to do later on. Based on the research results that are relevant to this study, it was found that children who have a parent with optimizing the opportunity receive language stimulation well will grow into adults who are capable in terms of linguistic and have a tendency to more easily understand the readings five times greater than adults who in his childhood did not receive similar stimuli. The research of applying research methods combined concerning the development model Akker consists of four steps of analysis. At this stage of the development of the early models used two students who have in common the maturity to learn from three schools with different economic and social conditions for the trial subject or the respondent. Then proceeded on a limited testing phase is done with 30 students from five different schools. Extensive test phase carried out in the application of the 40 students from ten different schools. Rating (sig) is less than 0.05 (α), then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a difference of values on the Group 1 (Pre-order) and group 2 (Post). If seen from the average, then the average group 2 (post) = 77.9410 is higher than the average Group 1 (pre) = 59.7450. Then the values of Group 2 (position) better than group 1 (pre). As a result, an increase in the number of students from grades pre to post.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas V SDN Ngepeh Kecamaatan Saradan, Kabupaten Madiun dalam menulis surat undangan dengan menggunakan foto.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis data triangulasi, dan dalam kegiatan analisis dan kegiatan pengumpulan data menggunakan siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian PTK adalah hasil siklus I keterampilan menulis siswa menunjukkan penguasaan subjek penelitian yaitu 59,2%. Pada siklus II hasil menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan keterampilan menulis siswa mencapai 83,2%, hasil peningkatan keterampilan menulis siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 24%. Peningkatan kemampuan menulis surat undangan hingga ketepatan viabilitas surat yang sesuai. foto, elemen elemen kelengkapan surat, ketelitian kata sopan, ketepatan kalimat, dan penggunaan ejaan dan tata bahasa alat tulis yang tepat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media foto dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis surat undangan siswa kelas SDN Ngepeh Kabupaten Saradan Madiun pada tahun akademik 2015/2016.
This article purpose is examining the appication of anti-corruption education model through hero biography recension, its effectiveness as the instructional effect and the nurturant effect. The research was conducted in PGRI Madiun University, especially Counseling Teaching Department. It had 31 students as the sample of experiment class, and 35 students as the control class. The data resources were meassured quantitatively and qualitatively. The comparison between students score from both classes were processed by independent sample test. The average score of the control class (2.4143) is smaller than the average score of the experimental class (2.8226) so it can be concluded that the learning mastery of the experimental class is better than the other class. The data of student interview was classified into six groups. The conclusion of this study are: (1) The Anti-corruption Education Model through Hero Biography Recension was effective as the score of the experiment class was better than the score of the control one; (2) the example and role of models in anti-corruption education were from people in the society, including teachers, principals, the National Heroes, and also the individual himself; (3) there was relationship among the ability of reading, the motivation in finding information, and the affective mastery in learning.
This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the workshop in using google classroom as social community services for elementary school teachers and learning assistance at home for Elementary school students in Kare district, Madiun. With the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, there were several problems faced by teachers and students in several elementary schools in Kare, they are;1) teachers had a problem in operating google classroom as media for teaching, 2) students had a problem in using Google Classroom, 3) Parents had difficulty in monitoring or assisting children’ work. Starting from this problem, it is necessary to do a workshop for teachers in maximizing the using of Google Classroom and doing a learning assistance program for students at home. Furthermore, the steps in implementing this program are; 1) doing workshops and mentoring teachers; 2) mentoring and assisting student s;3) reflecting on activities and planning follow-up and program dissemination. The participants of this workshop were 26 teachers; while the participants of home-community were 10 groups which consist of 66 pupils handled by 12 university students. By doing this program, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in the quality of online teaching learning process in the elementary schools in Kare, Madiun. The results showed that:1) 81% of teachers were enthusiastic in participating in the workshop of Google Classroom, 2) the activities in assisting students at home done by Universitas PGRI Madiun’s students helped primary students in understanding the material and using Google Classroom, even though 34% of students still had connectivity problems in accessing Google Classroom, 3) 75% of parents were satisfied with Home Learning Assistance done by UNIPMA’s students.
