This study aims to determine the effect of participatory leadership style, motivation and work environment on employee performance at the Department of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) of Yapen Islands Regency, Papua, Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research with the sources of data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study used a saturated sample with a total of 101 people and applied multiple regression to analyse the data. It found that the participatory leadership did not affect the employee performance, while motivation and work environment influence the employee performance. It implies that the latter variables are the employee performance’s key drivers and should be the main priorities.
Untuk mewujudkan SDM yang produktif atau berkinerja tinggi, maka dibutuhkan SDM yang mempunyai kemampuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman dalam bidang mereka masing-masing, selain diperlukan pula kepemimpinan yang baik, motivasi kerja yang tinggi serta lingkungan kerja yang memadahi bagi setiap pegawai yang ada dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh Kepemimpinan, Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Kabupaten Nduga Provinsi Papua, dan penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan model penelitian survey dengan instrumen kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel Kepemimpinan, Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Kabupaten Nduga Provinsi Papua, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan , hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis dimana nilai signifikansi variabel Kepemimpinan pada tingkat signifikansi 5 % lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05). Variabel Motivasi sebesar 0,015 < 0,05 dan variabel Lingkungan Kerja sebesar 0,001 < 0,05. Sedangkan secara simultan melalui uji F , nilai signifikansi pada tingkat signifikansi 5 % sebesar 0,000 < 0,005, ini berarti secara simultan variabel Kepemimpinan, Motivasi dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Kabupaten Nduga Provinsi Papua.

This study aims to find out and obtain a clear picture of how much influence leadership, motivation, and work discipline have on employee performance in public sector organization. the study was conducted in Keerom Regency, Papua province, Indonesia. The type of data used is qualitative data and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used were field studies and literature studies. The research was conducted using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques consisting of research instrument tests, standard assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the only leadership influence the employee performance. Two other variables, motivation and discipline of work do not prove significantly influence on government employee performance in Keerom Regency Office of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives
This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on the performance of employees at the Food Security and Coordination Counseling of Papua Province. Respondents in this study as many as 84 employees at the Office of Food Security and Coordination Counseling of Papua Province and respondents who returned questionnaires of 60 questionnaires, Data processed using Multiple Regression and using SPSS software version 20. The result of this research shows that leadership has significant effect on employee performance while work motivation has significant effect on employee performance. The result of simultaneous research shows that leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) have significant effect on employee performance.
The performance of the Yapen Island Regency's Agriculture and Food Security Agency, as the responsible local government agency in developing the local agriculture sector, is still far from optimal, as seen from the decrease in its budget absorption. This study aims to determine and analyze the influences of work motivation, leadership, and work environment on employee performance at the mentioned local government agency. This quantitative research used a survey employing a questionnaire as a research instrument. Of 108 public officers became the sample. Multiple regression tests analyzed data with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that 1) there was a significant influence of motivation on employee performance, 2) there was a significant effect of leadership on employee performance, 3) there was a significant effect of the work environment on employee performance, and 4) motivation was the most dominant factor in affecting employee performance at the observed local government agency.
