Ancorado no paradigma da internet das coisas (IoT), os Hospitais Inteligentes têm surgido como uma proposta inovadora de hospitais, onde as funções de diagnósticos, tratamento, gestão e decisão estão integradas. Diante dos grandes problemas que hospitais no mundo todo tem enfrentado, a necessidade de um ambiente inteligente dentro do contexto hospitalar tem sido urgente, e os benefícios trazidos pela IoT para este setor são inúmeros. Entendendo a importância deste tema, este trabalho se propôs a realizar um estudo de prospecção tecnológica em base de patentes e artigos científicos, a fim de investigar tecnologias baseadas no paradigma da IoT com aplicação em ambientes hospitalares. Assim, foram realizadas buscas nas bases Questel-Orbit, para documentos de patentes, e Scopus, para artigos científicos. Através das análises patentárias e bibliométricas foi possível construir um mapeamento das tecnologias e pesquisas científicas sobre IoT com aplicação em hospitais, dentro do corte temporal de 2009 a 2020. Os resultados apontaram para um crescimento exponencial de depósitos de patentes e publicações de artigos sobre este tema. Tecnologias de dispositivos de transmissão de informações digitais, e tecnologias de medição para fins de diagnóstico, tiveram destaque dentro do universo apurado. Já as tecnologias da informação e comunicação adaptadas para fins específicos foram as que mais cresceram nesse período. Além disso, foi possível observar a China como uma grande produtora de tecnologias de IoT para hospitais, já a Índia obteve destaque em termos de pesquisas científicas sobre essa temática. O trabalho permitiu ter uma visão das principais tendências da IoT para hospitais.
Foi realizada uma prospecção tecnológica para avaliar a usabilidade de novas tecnologias para o monitoramento de feridas na Atenção Básica. Patentes e artigos científicos foram buscados nas bases WIPO, PATENTINSPIRATION, LATIPAT - ESPACENET, Science Direct, e Scopus, respectivamente. A busca na base WIPO, utilizando o termo “monitoring and diabetic” no campo “página de cobertura” e a opção “nome” PCT, gerou a recuperação de 460 patentes. Foram recuperadas 0 (0%) patentes na base LATIPAT-SPACENET quando utilizado o termo “monitoring and diabetic” no campo “pesquisa inteligente". Na base PATENTINSPIRATION utilizando o termo “monitoring and diabetic” 1.653 patentes recuperadas lidas na íntegra “título” e “resumo” com código IPC e CPC A61, B1/00, porém, nenhuma se refere ao desenvolvimento de aplicativos para o monitoramento de pacientes diabéticos com feridas na atenção básica, indicando o ineditismo do tema proposto em se tratando de patentes depositadas no Brasil e via PCT.
Um dos desafios para os pacientes com diabetes mellitus (DM) é controlar as concentrações glicêmicas e, observa-se melhora nos resultados clínicos quando utilizam aplicativos móveis para realizar o seu autocuidado. A monitorização da glicemia por técnica capilar (GC) fornece apenas dados intermitentes do controle metabólico, impedindo uma visão completa do perfil glicêmico do paciente. Com a Monitorização Contínua de Glicose (CGM), é possível avaliar com exatidão as variações glicêmicas ao longo do dia, com intervenção terapêutica mais eficaz. Diante destas premissas a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo promover o desenvolvimento de um aplicativo móvel, denominado UP GLICEMIA, para monitorização da glicose por CGM por meio do sensor subcutâneo e GC, que geram relatórios gráficos simultâneos. Os valores glicêmicos, quando medidos e registrados no aplicativo, são informados ao usuário em forma de padrões de alertas para normoglicemia, tolerável, hiperglicemia e hipoglicemia, apresentados em cores verde, amarelo, vermelho e roxo, respectivamente. O referido aplicativo, também gera relatórios gráficos diários, semanais e mensais para as duas técnicas de medidas glicêmicas por meio de gráficos individuais e também associados, que poderão auxiliar na conduta terapêutica. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa aplicada, exploratória para desenvolvimento de aplicativo, com uma nova perspectiva para o controle glicêmico. Espera-se que a utilização do UP GLICEMIA para o paciente com DM tipo 1 e tipo 2 e pelo profissional de saúde possa auxiliar no melhor entendimento do monitoramento da glicose do usuário, demonstrando o perfil glicêmico por completo e possibilite o controle da glicemia.
<span id="docs-internal-guid-230cacc9-7fff-9171-0770-814be7809388"><span>O autismo é um transtorno do desenvolvimento que normalmente costuma ser identificado na infância, persistindo na adolescência e na fase adulta. Pessoas com autismo são caracterizadas por </span><span>déficits</span><span> na comunicação, linguagem e comportamento, o que, invariavelmente, prejudica a sua interação social. Pesquisas em torno de Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), voltadas para o diagnóstico e o tratamento de pessoas com autismo, têm sido emergentes nos últimos anos. Dispositivos móveis, por exemplo, têm viabilizado diversas formas de acessibilidade e servido como ferramentas a indivíduos autistas com deficiências sensoriais, motoras, assim como aos que necessitam de comunicação aumentativa. Neste estudo, foram realizadas busca e análise em base de patentes e artigos científicos com o intuito de se obter um panorama das principais TICs que têm sido aplicadas a pessoas com autismo. Os resultados mostraram um crescimento substancial de trabalhos e tecnologias que podem proporcionar tratamentos alternativos para pessoas com autismo, totalizando 611 artigos científicos e 222 famílias de patentes.</span></span>
A telemedicina abrange atividades médicas, como diagnóstico, tratamento, prevenção de doenças e educação continuada, se utilizando principalmente de tecnologias de informação, imagem de vídeo e conexões de telecomunicações, proporcionando tratamento remoto, monitoramento contínuo e compartilhamento de informações. Essa abordagem da assistência médica tem sido especialmente importante diante da pandemia da Covid-19 que o mundo ainda atravessa devido aos seus inúmeros benefícios. Esta pesquisa se propôs a realizar um estudo de prospecção tecnológica em base de patentes, a fim de investigar tecnologias de telemedicina. Foi realizado um levantamento patentário na base de patentes Questel Orbit. Com os dados apurados, análises foram realizadas para destacar países, empresas, classificações de patentes e o atual cenário do Brasil em termos de tecnologias de telemedicina. Notou-se um crescimento considerável de depósitos de patentes nos últimos dez anos, sendo China, Estados Unidos e Coreia do Sul os países que mais patenteiam essas tecnologias.
