O estado do Amapá dispõe de cerca de 98% de suas florestas intactas, além de uma alta diversidade de fitofisionomias e espécies ainda desconhecidas pela ciência. A Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Rio Iratapuru é uma unidade de conservação estadual que abriga uma população com práticas extrativistas. O presente estudo objetivou conhecer e registrar a florística e a estrutura de parte da flora arbórea da RDS. Foram delimitadas 11 parcelas de 10x100 m próximas às margens do Rio Jari (53º06'24” W e 00º16'35” N) e inventariados todos os indivíduos com DAP a partir de 10 cm, medido a 1,30 m de altura. Do total de 623 indivíduos inventariados, foram identificadas 101 espécies em 32 famílias, com densidade total (DT) de 566,36 indivíduos ha-1 e área basal total de 36,192 m2.ha-1. A área apresentou uma acentuada capacidade regenerativa, com a maioria dos indivíduos presentes nas menores classes diamétricas. Especialistas locais inseriram as espécies inventariadas em diversas categorias de uso, que, aliadas aos resultados fitossociológicos, podem fornecer importantes indicadores sobre como utilizar de forma sustentável os recursos vegetais locais.Palavras-chave: Fitofisionomia do Amapá; fitossociologia; floresta tropical. AbstractFloristic and Structure of a terra firme forest located in Iratapuru River Sustainable Development Reserve, Amapá State, Eastern Amazon, Brazil. The State of Amapá has 98% of its native forests intact, a high diversity of phytophysionomies and species that still remains unknown to science. The Iratapuru River Sustainable Development Reserve (SDR) is a state conservation unit, which maintains a population of extractive practices. The present study aims to know and record the floristic and structure of part of the tree species of the SDR. Eleven plots of 10x100 meters were delimited in the area next to the banks of the River Jari (53° 06'24 "W and 00° 16'35" N) and inventoried all trees with diameters from 10 cm measured at 1.30 m. A total of 623 individuals trees was identified, 101 species in 32 families were gathered, with total density (TD) of 566.36 individuals/ha, total basal area of 36,192 m2/ha; The area had a marked regenerative capacity with the majority of the individuals represented on smaller diameter classes. The use of forest resources by a rural community adjacent to a Biological Reserve was examined using quantitative methods based on the consensus of six local specialists. Plants with trunk diameters at 1.3 m above soil level (DBH) ≥ 5 cm were sampled in 0.5 ha of forest and their use-value (UV) were calculated and associated with their structural descriptors. A total of 129 species were identified, and 69 of them having known uses. The species with largest UV were: Xylopia sericea, Lecythis lanceolata and Guarea macrophylla. The results demonstrated that neither the degree of recognition of taxa by the local specialists nor their use-versatility depended on their abundance in nature. The results corroborate the hypothesis that richness of a plant family is a predictive character of its cultural importance and the community recognizes the value of conserving the forest remnants.

RESUMOAs relações entre as fitofisionomias de vegetação de "Restinga" e o substrato sedimentar presentes nas planícies costeiras brasileiras ainda são pouco conhecidas. Este trabalho apresenta os aspectos estruturais do componente arbóreo de dois tipos de florestas de Restinga (Floresta baixa -FbR e Floresta alta -FaR) associadas a três depósitos marinhos quaternários de diferentes gerações, presentes na planície costeira da bacia do Rio Itaguaré, em Bertioga (SP), e descreve as variações espaciais nos teores de alguns elementos químicos do solo, associados a esses remanescentes florestais. Para o estudo da vegetação foi empregado o método de parcelas, que estabelece a análise de todos os indivíduos com DAP (diâmetro à altura do peito) ≥ 10 cm. Os parâmetros levantados foram densidade, área basal e altura dos indivíduos. Os resultados mostraram que a FbR apresenta as menores amplitudes diamétri-cas e alturas dos indivíduos arbóreos e menor dispersão das alturas quando correlacionadas com o diâmetro (relação alométrica entre altura e DAP). Na FaR foi possível identificar variações na estrutura em função da idade do depósito marinho, do quimismo e da evolução dos solos associados, de forma que a floresta se apresenta melhor desenvolvida nos depó-sitos mais antigos, além de mostrar a maior correlação positiva para a relação alométrica. Percebe-se também a importância da camada orgânica depositada sobre o solo para o equilí-brio da dinâmica da ciclagem dos nutrientes disponibilizados para as plantas. De acordo com os parâmetros da legislação ambiental vigente as fitofisionomias estudadas encontram-se em estágio avançado de regeneração (FbR) e em estado primário ou nativo (FaR).Palavras-chave: estrutura florestal, Restinga, depósitos marinhos quaternários, fertilidade de solos, variação espacial. ABSTRACTIn the Brazilian coastal plains, the relationship between the "Restinga" phytophysiognomies and sedimentary deposits are still poorly understood. This paper presents the main structural aspects of tree components from two types of Restinga forests (Restinga low Forest -FbR, and Restinga high Forest -FaR), which cover three different generations of marine deposits outcropping in the coastal plain area of the Itaguaré River basin, Bertioga (SP), and also describes the spatial variations in the concentrations of some chemical elements in soil, associated with these forest remnants. The parcel method assumed that all individuals have DBH ≥ 10 cm. Density, basal area and tree height were measured. The results show that in FbR, the trees have the smallest diameters and heights, as well as little relationship between DBH and height. Considerable variations occur in the two types of FaR as a function of marine deposit age, soil evolution and chemical properties; so that the best developed forest covers the most ancient deposits with the most evolved and richest soils. Este estudo foi desenvolvido em um fragmento de Floresta Estacional Semidecidual aluvial na Fazenda São Luiz, Viçosa (MG). A composição florística e a estrutura florestal foram investigadas através de um censo. No levantamento foram incluídos todos os indivíduos com diâmetro do tronco à altura do peito (DAP) iguais ou maiores que 3 cm. Foram identificados 375 indivíduos em uma área de 0,5 ha, distribuídos em 58 espécies, 46 gêneros e 25 famílias. O índice de diversidade de Shannon (H’) foi de 3,41. As espécies com maior valor de cobertura (VC) foram Cecropia glaziovii, Nectandra reticulata e Anadenanthera colubrina. O remanescente florestal é composto predominantemente por espécies secundárias iniciais, caracterizando-se como uma etapa seral pioneira, cujo valor de sua conservação se estende à proteção do manancial hídrico a ela associado, onde atua como barreira natural ao assoreamento dos cursos d´água.
