Abstract. We give an overview of the coinductive logic programming paradigm. We discuss its applications to modeling ω-automata, model checking, verification, non-monotonic reasoning, developing SAT solvers, etc. We also discuss future research directions.
Assuming no experience with computing, this book teaches the BASIC language with an emphasis on programming educational applications. Part of the two-volume Computer Literacy for Teachers set, the major advantage of this book is that each topic is presented in the context of practical applications. The clear, concise, unintimidating approach allows users to begin programming early and effectively. Overall, the book is a good place for the beginning user to begin to acquire skills in BASIC.
