Çalışmada Web Tabanlı Uzaktan Eğitim ile Geleneksel Eğitimin İnternet Programcılığı 2 dersinde karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla bu iki yöntem İnternet Programcılığı 2 dersinde kullanılarak öğrencilerin akademik başarı düzeyleri ve öğrenilenlerin kalıcılığı incelenmiştir. 70 öğrenciden oluşan çalışma grubu ile yürütülen araştırmada deney ve kontrol grupları 35'er öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Deney grubu öğrencileri Web Tabanlı Uzaktan Eğitim ortamında, kontrol grubu ise Geleneksel Eğitim ortamında her bir grup 14 hafta öğrenim görmüşlerdir. Çalışmada gruplar ilgili dersteki başarılar, demografik özellikler, bilgisayar ve internet kullanımı bilgi düzeyi bakımından karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda deney grubu öğrencileri ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde Betimsel İstatistikler, Bağımsız Gruplar t Testi, ANCOVA, nitel veri analizi için ise betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları Web Tabanlı Uzaktan Eğitim'in başarıyı artırmada ve kalıcılığı sağlamada Geleneksel Eğitime göre daha başarılı olduğunu göstermektedir. Görüşme sonuçlarına göre ise Web Tabanlı Uzaktan Eğitim ile ilgili olarak öğrenciler pozitif düşüncelere sahiptirler.
In this study, the effect of Digital Storytelling method on the attitudes of students toward teaching technologies is investigated. The study group was composed of 20 students at Mustafa Kemal University's Kırıkhan Vocational School for 2014-2015 spring term academic period. Seven study groups were designed by appointing two or three students for each, and the social norms themed digital stories were prepared as assignments. One grouped pre-test / post-test model based on semi experimental design was chosen for study, and the Education Technologies attitudes scale was performed before and after the study. Following the post-test implementation, interviews with students were also performed. The relational samples created between the pretest and post-test was analyzed via t test. The results indicate that the Digital Storytelling method has a positive effect on students' attitudes toward education technologies, although this result was not statistically significant. According to the interview results, it was also concluded the digital stories can be used as instructional materials, and it can also increase the level of knowledge and interest upon subject via using the education technologies.
In this study, the effect of Blended Learning environment on students' motivation level was dealt. Hence, 42 students who took the course as Database Management Systems in the relevant academic semester as 2014-2015 in Mustafa Kemal University Kırıkhan Vocational School participated in our research. This study used the academic motivation scale which was created by Bozanoğlu ( 2004) in order to measure the academic motivation levels of student being designed as pre-test-end test in a semi experimental form. Throughout the study which were 5 weeks, the Blended Learning method was used for the experiment group, on the other hand the Traditional Learning methods were performed for the control group. As the datum were analyzed, the pre test and end-test results of the groups were compared at first. Independent Groups t-Test was performed for the datum. Afterwards, an analysis for one specific group on behalf of improvement about academic motivation throughout the study was performed. In this respect the pre-test and end results of each group were compared then in group related samples t-test was performed. As a result of the study, owing to the analysis it was concluded that the Blended Learning is not comparatively more superior than the Traditional Learning methods on behalf of improving the academic motivation of students.
