Heat is an energy that we often encounter in our daily lives. Heat can be transferred from one medium to another, such as a solid medium. Heat transfer in a solid is called heat conduction or diffusion. Numerical analysis is one approach used to solve differential diffusion in many cases. In this paper, the concern is the proposed finite difference method to simulate one-dimensional heat transfer on varying metals. This numerical method utilizes the Neumann boundary conditions as well as the Taylor series in finding differential diffusion solutions. The solution obtained was applied and simulated in the case of heat transfer by conduction on various metals. From this simulation, we can obtain data in the form of temperature distribution across various metals by adjusting to boundary conditions. Then, the distribution is used to predict when various metals reach their equilibrium temperature. The final equilibrium temperature on varying metal must satisfy Thermodynamics Law. In order to illustrate the accuracy, the varying boundary conditions are presented. The results obtained in the form of temperature distribution will be simulated with the help of the MATLAB program to obtain conclusions from the objects of this paper. The conclusion indicates that using finite difference is accurate in some boundary conditions.
School-based management (MBS) has developed in Indonesia since 2000. It focuses on developing and improving quality of education by giving greater authority to school in making decisions together with all school members and local society. This research aims to determine the implementation of MBS in Surakarta junior high schools in 2020. The implementation studied is based on 7 (seven) components, they are of School-Based Curriculum and Learning Management, School-Based Students Management, School-Based Teachers and Education Staff Management, School-Based Facilities and Infrastructure Management, School-Based Financing Management, School-Based School and Community Relations Management, and School-Based Culture and Environment Management.Qualitative method is used in this study. Through a qualitative approach, the results for each MBS components described more deeply, to get the effectivity of implementation of MBS in Surakarta junior high schools.
The aim of this study is to build a science kit of Faraday’s Law with free fall motion method. The magnetic flux comes from several neodymium magnets and the coil is made of copper. The moving magnet falling through the coil causes a change in the magnetic flux and produces an induced emf. The data analysis technique used in this research are graphical method and analysis of Faraday’s Law equations with another supporting equation. Based on the results of this study, the conclusion is the induced emf value is directly proportional with the change of the magnetic flux and also has a directly proportional with the number of turn of coil, thus it can be obtained the mathematical equation of Faraday’s Law ε = d ϕ B d t
