Resumo Objetivou-se investigar como os profissionais de enfermagem compreendem o assédio moral, bem como identificar essas situações vivenciadas pelos profissionais dessa área, suas causas e consequên-cias para a saúde desses trabalhadores. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, de natureza qualitativa, da qual participaram 15 profissionais de enfermagem atuantes em unidades de saúde da família, da cidade de João Pessoa, na Paraíba. A coleta de dados foi realizada no período de abril a maio de 2013 e ocorreu mediante uma entrevista gravada. Os dados foram analisados por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo. Da análise do material, emergiram três categorias: Assédio moral, conceito e características na visão dos profissionais de enfermagem; Comportamentos de assédio moral experimentados por profissionais de enfermagem; e Consequências do assédio moral. Conclui-se que o assédio moral é disseminado entre enfermeiros e técnicos de enfermagem, apesar de alguns profissionais discernirem o conceito dessa prática, sendo notória a prevalência do tipo descendente. Palavras-chave enfermagem; atenção básica; trabalho.Abstract This study aimed to investigate the view nursing professionals have of moral harassment and how to identify these situations as experienced by the professionals in this area, as well as their causes and consequences for these workers' health. This is a qualitative exploratory research study in which 15 nursing professionals working at family health facilities in the city of João Pessoa, state of Paraíba, Brazil took part. Data collection took place between April and May 2013 by means of a recorded interview. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The analysis of the material revealed three categories: Moral harassment: Concept and characteristics from the nursing professionals' viewpoint; Moral harassment behaviors experienced by nursing professionals, and Consequences of the moral harassment. We conclude that moral harassment is widespread among nurses and nursing technicians, although some professionals understand the concept of this practice, and the prevalence of the descending type is notorious.

Introduction: The aging process is related to the multidimensional changes that converge on the involvement of disability and caring dependency, thus corroborating with the loss of independence in older people. Active aging emerges as a strategy to achieve the quality of life, being permeated and influenced by determinant factors such as personal and behavioral. Objective: Measure the determinants factors personal and behavioral of active aging among the elderly. Methods: A descriptive and exploratory study with a quantitative approach, developed with assisted elderly in the Integral Care Center for Elderly Health in the city of João Pessoa, PB, Brazil. The sample consisted by 235 elderly. Data collection was conducted from October to December 2014, through interviews subsidized by a structured instrument covering related information to the proposed objective. Data were analyzed from the quantitative approach using descriptive statistics of unvaried nature for both variables, including frequency measures, from position and dispersion. To do this, was used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Computer System-SPSS version 20.0. Results: It was verified that the majority of the sample were female (68.1%) with a predominance of the age group from 60 to 69 (59.1%). As for the personal determinants was found the hypertension (28.4%), osteoporosis (20.4%) and arthritis (19.2%) as the most prevalent morbidities, in addition to the falls occurrence (41.

Objetivo: Investigar se profissionais do Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar valorizam a comunicação, no âmbito dos cuidados paliativos, ao assistir o paciente sem possibilidades de cura, e averiguar quais são as estratégias comunicacionais facilitadoras que estes profissionais utilizam para promoção dos cuidados paliativos. Métodos: Pesquisa exploratória, de natureza qualitativa, realizada com 22 profissionais do Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar localizado na cidade de João Pessoa-PB. Os dados foram analisados por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Da análise, emergiram duas categorias: “Valorização da comunicação na relação entre os profissionais de saúde e o paciente sob cuidados paliativos” e “Estratégias comunicacionais utilizadas para promoção de cuidados paliativos pelos profissionais do Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar”. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a comunicação configura-se como um componente fundamental do cuidado com o paciente e é de suma relevância para a promoção dos cuidados paliativos. This study aims to identify chaplains' understanding in relation to spirituality, and to analyze the chaplaincy's contribution in the care of terminal patients. It is exploratory, qualitative research undertaken with seven hospital chaplains in two public hospitals in João Pessoa in the Brazilian state of Paraíba. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and were subjected to content analysis. The categories which emerged were: Spirituality in the view of chaplains, and Contributions of the chaplaincy in employing spirituality in the care of the terminal patient. These categories evidenced that the chaplains value the spiritual dimension in their practice, helping the patient to cope with the end-of-life process. It is hoped that this study will provide resources for further investigations, bearing in mind that studies on the chaplaincy and spirituality in the care for the terminal patient remain incipient.

Objective: to identify the relationship between self-care measures and the social and clinical conditions of patients with heart failure. Methods: a cross-sectional study with 100 patients with heart failure, in outpatient follow-up. To assess self-care, the European Heart Failure Self-care Behavior Scale was used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied. Results: the self-care score presented an average of 35.17 ± 7.87, with a variation of 15 to 54 points. A lower average was found in the self-care score for female patients, with a significant difference (p <0.009). The recognition of the presence of lower limb edema, the daily monitoring of body weight and the regular practice of physical activity were presented as self-care measures with greater disagreement among the investigated participants. Conclusion: a better relationship was found between the self-care measures and the female sex. Descriptors: Heart Failure; Self Care; Nursing. Objetivo: identificar a relação entre as medidas de autocuidado e as condições sociais e clínicas de pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca. Métodos: estudo transversal com 100 pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca, em seguimento ambulatorial. Para avaliar o autocuidado, utilizou-se a European Heart Failure Self-care Behavior Scale. Aplicou-se estatística descritiva e inferencial. Resultados: o escore de autocuidado apresentou média de 35,17±7,87, com variação de 15 a 54 pontos. Constatou-se menor média no escore de autocuidado para os pacientes do sexo feminino, com diferença significativa (p<0,009). O reconhecimento da presença de edema de membros inferiores, o monitoramento diário do peso corporal e a prática regular de atividade física apresentaram-se como as medidas de autocuidado com maior discordância entre os participantes investigados. Objective: to evaluate the healing process of chronic injuries in a patient treated at the Family Health Unit. Method: This is a qualitative, descriptive study of a clinical case study, conducted in a Family Health Unit, during 1 year and 4 months. The patient had home visits for the data collection through the application of an instrument. The results were presented through figures. Results: a significant improvement was observed in the evaluation of the healing process, considering the treatment performed with Hydrogel, essential fatty acids (AGE) and barrier cream. According to the taxonomy of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (CIPE), the diagnoses of nursing chronic pain, pressure injury, sadness, and compromised nutrition emerged. Subsequent, chronic pain, epithelial lesion, reduced sadness, and effective nutrition, as well as their respective interventions, were subsequently demonstrated. Conclusion: the stimulus to teamwork should be continuous, aiming at evaluation and health care not only through attitude but also through the joint responsibility and knowledge of the different leaders for unrestricted and humanized assistance. RESUMOObjetivo: avaliar o processo de cicatrização de feridas crônicas em paciente atendido em Unidade de Saúde da Família. Método: trata-se de estudo qualitativo, descritivo, do tipo estudo de caso clínico, realizado em uma Unidade de Saúde da Família, com duração de 1 ano e 4 meses. Realizaram-se visitas domiciliares para a coleta de dados mediante a aplicação de um instrumento. Apresentaram-se os resultados em forma de figuras. Resultados: observouse, quanto à avaliação do processo de cicatrização, uma melhora importante, considerando o tratamento realizado com Hidrogel, ácidos graxos essenciais (AGE) e creme barreira. Emergiram-se, de acordo com a taxonomia da Classificação Internacional para a Prática de Enfermagem (CIPE), os diagnósticos de Enfermagem dor crônica, lesão por pressão, tristeza e nutrição comprometida. Evidenciaram-se, posteriormente, dor crônica diminuída, lesão epitelizada, tristeza reduzida e nutrição eficaz, assim como suas respectivas intervenções. Conclusão: conclui-se que o estímulo ao trabalho em equipe deve ser contínuo, visando à avaliação e ao cuidado à saúde por meio não só de atitude, mas por meio da junção de responsabilidades e saberes dos distintos dirigentes em prol de uma assistência irrestrita e humanizada.
