CRECHES -DESENVOLVIMENTO DA CRIANÇA -EDUCAÇÃO INCLUSIVA ABSTRACT THE INCLUSION OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN THE VISION OF DAY CARE CENTERPROFESSIONALS. The inclusion of children from birth to 18 months in day care centers, a phase that can be considered as the first one for inclusive education, may stimulate their motor development and perceptual-cognitive abilities. The goal of this study was to identify how people working in such centers conceive the inclusion of children with special needs in their routine activities. For such, seven women involved in a municipal day care center in the city of Bauru (SP, Brazil) were interviewed. The data -organized according to three analytical categories: believes related to the inclusion process; benefits that it can bring for the child; and differences between children in this age group -were subjected to a qualitative analysis. The results indicated that the inclusion of children with special needs in day-care centers is viewed with reservations. This negative
THE DUALITY BETWEEN CARE AND EDUCATION IN A NURSERY DAILY ACTIVITIESAbstract: This article has the as objective to verify concepts related to care and to educate, with nursery professionals. Some documents about children education were studied and some interviews and observations of the work were done with seven nursery professionals. The main focus were the activities related to care developed with children. Data were organized following the degrees: function of the nursery, education and care concepts. Data were submitted of quality analysis, allowing the confrontation between the theorical and empirical material. The results showed that official documents do not worry about the phase under discussion, letting inaccurate the relation between the activities of care and its educational role. This inexactness is noticed in the nursery professionals' speech. The activities of care are enclosed in child education, once in the vision of the professionals it has a corrective function. This aspect is justified by the lack of formation and by the fact of they entail this activity to their mothers' experience.Key-words: care; education; nursery. Therefore, it is necessary to develop primary health actions for the most vulnerable population.
Introduction: the infant hospitalisation may put at risk the normal development of the children due to the breaking of their routine and the adjustment to the new reality process. There are several initiatives to promote spaces in hospitals so that the children can have contact with recreational activities. There are many variables that may influence the children's attitude towards the possibility of playful activities, among them the involvement of the accompanying persons. It is essential to learn their interpretation of the playing activities in the hospital context and which characteristics are associated with this activity in order to reach better planning of the assistance. Objective: this study aimed to examine the opinion of the accompanying persons on promoting play during the children's hospitalisation. Methods: therefore, the accompanying persons answered questionnaires during that period of hospitalisation. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. Results: 65 mothers of hospitalised children, mostly accompanied patients aged from 2-6 years old. All of them confirmed that the children should attend the playroom since it helps in recovery, providing relief from suffering, calming them and thus relieving tensions. Conclusion: as a conclusion, the accompanying persons highlight the importance of the playroom in the context of hospitalisation of children to soothe its effects of and help in the development of the children.
