Mit 2 TextabbildungenPostoperative Ver/inderungen der Serumproteinzusammensetzung sind aus der Allgemein-und Unfallchirurgie bekannt als Begleiterscheinungen von Schoekzust~inden, Gewebsnekrosen, Heilungsvorg/ingen und Entztindungen im Operationsgebiet oder in anderen Organen, die die ,,postoperative Krankheit" begleiten oder komplizieren. Sie sind von den meisten Beobaehtern als unspezifisehe, stereotype tleaktionen des Blutplasmas aufge-fal3t worden, die im ttahmen der vegetativen ,,Gesamtumsehaltung" (Hoff), des ,,Adaptationssyndromes" oder von ,,Adaptationskrankheiten (Selye) durch den pathogenen oder operativen Iteiz ausgel~Sst werden. Diese Umstellung der Serumproteinzusammensetzung besteht im allgemeinen --~ihnlieh wie die der Leukoeyten --in quantitativen Ver'anderungen der einzelnen Komponenten. Sie sind in Form von Vermehrungen der Globuline und des Fibrinogens und einer Abnahme des Serumalbumins seit langem bekannt.Die Erfahrungen mit der elektrophoretisehen Trennung der EiweiB-kgSrper braehten nun weitere Erkenntnisse fiber bestimmte Kombinationen quantitativer Fraktionsanderungen, die f/ir einige System-und Organerkrankungen als eharakteristiseh gelten, wie ,,Lebe>, Nephrose-, hepatorenale, akute und ehronisehe Entziindungskonstellationen" (Bennhold u. v. a.).Aueh bei malignen Tumoren werden h~iufig Vermehrungen aller oder bestimmter Globuline in den versehiedenen Stadien der Erkrankung angetroffen. Wenn demnaeh in manehen Fallen mit stark ausgepr/igten Krankheitsbildern die Einzelanalyse auch bestimmte diagnostisehe Hinweise er-m6glicht, so besteht doeh der Hauptwert der Methode darin, dab an Hand von L;dngssehnittuntersuehungen wertvolle Anhaltspunkte ffir die Beurtei-Die Untersuehungen wurden mit Unterstiitzung der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinsehaft durehgefiihrt.
