Zusammenfassung: Erkrankungen des Hufes stellen beim Pferd eine stete Herausforderung dar. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie war die Untersuchung des Einflusses verschiedener Bodenbeschaffenheiten auf die dorsopalmare und mediolaterale Druckverteilung des Hufes. Der ausgeschnittene Huf der jeweils linken Vordergliedmaße von 25 Warmblutpferden wurde mithilfe eines folienbasierten Druckmesssystems auf unterschiedlichen Böden und im Schritt und Stand untersucht. Die hochflexiblen Sensoren wurden individuell der Hufform angepasst und mit Klebeband fixiert, nachfolgend wurden die Pferde in gerader Linie auf vier aufeinanderfolgenden Bahnen unterschiedlicher Bodenbeschaffenheit (Beton, Gummi, harter Sand, weicher Sand) geführt und Daten über die vertikale Druckverteilung und den Fußungsablauf aufgezeichnet. Jeweils 6-7 stabile Schritte auf einer Bahn wurden in der darauffolgenden Auswertung der Daten zu einem Messbild gemittelt, um die dorsopalmare, sowie die mediolaterale Druckverteilung und die Wanderung des Kräfteschwerpunktes während der Stützphase zu untersuchen. Die insgesamt belastete Fläche des Hufes auf Betonboden war im Stand (44,59 cm² ±14,82 cm²) signifikant geringer als im Schritt (74,70 cm² ±15,90 cm²). Zudem zeigte sich im Stand die Hauptbelastung unter der Mitte des Hufes (41,08 % ±16,93 %), während im Schritt die Zehe im Vergleich etwas mehr Belastung erfuhr (42,10 % ± 5,57 %). Druckspitzen im Bereich des Initialkontaktes mit dem Boden und des Abrollpunktes waren unter den Pferden unterschiedlich stark ausgeprägt. Gummiboden und harter Sand bewirkten kaum eine Änderung der dorsopalmaren Druckverteilung, der Druck der lateralen und medialen Hufhälfte glich sich zunehmend an. Auf weichem Sand verdoppelte sich die Belastungsfläche im Vergleich zu Beton und die Druckkräfte verteilten sich gleichmäßig, ohne Druckspitzen über den gesamten Huf. Die teils massiven Änderungen der Druckverteilung des Hufes auf weichem Sand verdeutlichen die wichtige Rolle unterschiedlicher Bodenbeschaffenheiten im Arbeitsalltag des Pferdes, aber auch in der Behandlung orthopädischer Patienten. Durch den Einsatz unterschiedlicher Böden können Strukturen und Bereiche des Hufes gezielt be-oder entlastet werden.
