SYNOPSISThe chemical modification of poly(acrylonitri1e) was carried out using monoethanolamine and lðylenediamine. The effect of the reaction conditions on the content of basic groups was studied. Polymer analogous reactions were carried out by varying the amount of the starting reagents and the temperature. The amino-containing polymers were characterized by elemental analysis. The obtained water-soluble polymers were used as carriers of low-molecular substances. 0 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
